Story
Meet Brody! Sweet Brody is an 8 month old Doberman. He is a sweet boy and very friendly with everyone he meets. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs too. Brody came to us because he was scheduled to be euthanized in an overcrowded shelter. We could not let this happen! Brody was received by the shelter after his owners tried to crop his ears. They botched it and his ears became very infected. He was taken to a vet who had to repeat the crop, but there was so much damage that Brody essentially does not have any ears left. He is otherwise healthy and in good shape. He is a big boy, strong and athletic as most Dobermans are. He needs some training since he has clearly had none, but he is very responsive.  We hope to find him a family who will love his unique look and who will show him that humans are kind. We prefer to place him with families who have older kids only. He is a big boy in need of some training.  Brody will be vaccinated, chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $495. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
🐾 Hi there, I’m Tina! 🐶 🎀 About Me: • Name: Tina • Age: 4 years young • Sex: Female • Breed: Doberman mix • Color: Sleek black • Weight: A fit 22 kg 🏡 My Rescue Story: Once upon a time, I was tied up in a village and my owner moved away without me. The villagers didn’t understand how special I am, but thankfully, a kind soul saw my worth and saved me from a grim fate. Now, I’m looking for a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. 💖 My Personality: • I’m a total lovebug! I adore cuddles and will rub against you like a little shadow. Whether we’ve just met or known each other for ages, I’m all about showing affection. • Belly rubs? Yes, please! I’ll show you my tummy as a sign of trust and friendship. • I’m a bit of a social butterfly with humans, but I need a slow introduction to other dogs. I’m learning that sharing is caring, especially when it comes to toys and treats. • Cats intrigue me, but I’m a good girl and will keep walking if you lead the way. • I love a good adventure outdoors, but I’m also content to chill out at home after some fun in the sun. • I’m learning to walk nicely on a leash, but sometimes I get a little excited. I promise I’m getting better every day! • I’m not food aggressive with my human friends, but I prefer to dine alone without other dogs cramping my style. • I’m potty trained and do my business outside like a champ. 🐕 My Social Skills: • I’m still a pup at heart when it comes to playtime! I haven’t had much experience with other doggos, so I get super excited and sometimes don’t know my own strength and can be a bit aggresive. 🐾 • I’m like a shadow to my walker, following faithfully even when other furry friends are around. 🚶‍♀️ • Dog parks with lots of pups are a bit overwhelming for me, so I prefer quiet walks where I can be the center of your world. 🌎 🐾 Looking for a Human: I’m searching for someone who loves snuggles as much as I do, enjoys leisurely walks, and appreciates a quiet evening at home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, I’m your girl! If you think we could be a match made in heaven, let’s meet and sniff each other out! 🐾💕 Paws and kisses, Tina

Story
She’s had two litters and is not spayed. She currently lives on 10 acres and is very much an inside dog. She is crate trained. Knows sit, speak and shake. Training collar trained since a young pup. Use the beep feature and the vibrate feature on occasion. She has a great recall with whistle. She is NOT socialized with anyone but us. no need to be as rarely left the homestead. So that may be a challenge in the beginning. She is easily swayed by food. She does NOT like her nails done. She is used to cats. She is most fond of sun bathing. NOT to be an outside dog. Indoor dog with access to outdoor for potty, playing & exercise only

Story
Animal Profile: Copper is an estimated 3-year-old, 80 lb neutered male Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. He was originally picked up as a stray in Georgia and joined us from via Project Freedom Ride. He was evaluated to be very friendly with dogs and people. Foster Update: Copper is young and full of energy, but it's easy to wear him out with some exercise. He loves to chase balls, although he is still working on returning and dropping them. Copper can be cautious around new people, but once he warms up to them (or they give him a treat), he is very affectionate. He is able to make friends with other dogs after slow and proper introductions. With a confident handler, Copper doesn't react much to other dogs when on leash. He likes to lead but does not pull on walks. Adopter Profile: Single family dwelling with a securely fenced yard. No cats or small animals. Large breed experience and breed experience a plus!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/Bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Apply online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was picked by animal control in GA and transported via Project Freedom Ride to Seattle.  He arriving here on 10/22/22 and has been in foster care for nearly a year.  He is eager to find his forever home and is available for adoption.September 15, 2024, 1:38 am
