Story
Meet Dakota! A spirited eight-and-a-half-year-old Siberian Husky currently in Thornton, CO, whose essence is a delightful blend of playful charm and devoted companionship, wrapped in a stunning coat of grey and white. At about 90 pounds, Dakota may look like a snow king, but he’s really just a big goofball who loves to cuddle, play with balls, and occasionally hold a hilarious “argument” with his humans, classic Husky talk, of course! This affectionate fluffball is all about spreading joy. He adores everyone he meets, including young children, and lights up in the presence of other dogs. In fact, Dakota would absolutely love a home with a fellow playful pup to romp around with. He’s attended doggy day camp like a pro and thrives in social settings where he can burn off energy and then crash for a good snooze. He's got the independent Husky streak down pat! Dakota is fully house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He knows his commands, handles short periods alone just fine, and doesn’t have any special triggers or anxiety to worry about. While he hasn't shared a home with cats, he has shown a strong interest in chasing them on walks, so a cat-free environment would be the best fit for this curious fellow. True to his breed, Dakota has that classic Husky personality; playful, vocal, stubborn, and endlessly loyal. A home with a secure fenced yard is a must, giving him the freedom to explore safely. And because he thrives best with humans who understand the unique quirks of the Siberian Husky spirit, his next caregivers should ideally be familiar with the breed or ready to fall in love with it. Dakota is ready to bring laughter, love, and unforgettable moments to his next adventure. Are you the experienced, dog-loving family he needs, with a playful pup ready to be his partner in crime? Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more about Dakota and how you can welcome this one-of-a-kind Husky into your life!

Story
Meet Doggert! A joyful American Pitbull Terrier/Siberian Husky mix currently in Waxahachie, TX, estimated to be about three to four years old, whose essence is a whirlwind of fun wrapped in a tan-and-white coat and topped with the biggest, goofiest smile you’ve ever seen. At around 75 pounds of pure personality, Doggert is the kind of companion who turns every day into an adventure with a tennis ball in his mouth and his expressive ears flopping in the breeze. This playful, affectionate boy is a real crowd-pleaser at the dog park, where he zips around like a furry rocket, always ready to fetch, chase, and make new friends! He’s wonderfully friendly with other dogs, gets along well with cats, and has a gentle, happy-go-lucky way with children. Whether he's zooming across the yard or melting into a cuddle session after a long walk, Doggert balances his active lifestyle with heartwarming affection, especially if you’re into toe kisses! Doggert is house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and even responds to hand signals for “lay.” He adjusts well to a routine and stays calm when left alone, but he truly lights up when his people are nearby. A fenced yard is a must for this speedy sprinter! He needs space to run, explore, and release his Husky side in full glory. Got an active lifestyle? Doggert is your perfect partner for morning jogs, weekend hikes, or backyard fetch marathons! He’s always game for adventure but equally content to flop down for some belly rubs afterward. Just be sure to keep a few tennis balls handy! He loves to chew and these trusty toys help him steer clear of anything off-limits. Doggert needs a family or guardian who values playtime, companionship, and outdoor fun. If your heart’s big enough for one oversized grin and your yard’s roomy enough for zoomies, could Doggert be the cheerful new buddy you’ve been waiting for? Ready to meet this lovable goofball? Story
Sasha is a very beautiful young lady with the most gorgeous blue eyes that speak to you. She is approx 1 1/2  yr old, is house and crate trained, knows her basic manners and commands, has had professional training - but is still learning.  She LOVES playing with other dogs of all sizes and ages and would enjoy another active furry friend to play with. She will need a well fenced larger size yard. Sasha LOVES to run and would enjoy a family member or another youthful dog to do that with. She ESPECIALLY loves kids and is very affectionate with them- it is one of her happy places. However, due to her youthful energy level, she would do best in a home with kids school age or older.  She is normal active for a teenager, wants to initially burn off some energy, then sh settles down. She is very inquistive abpout everything. She will walk right into her crate for a treat and does not complain about being there. She is non destructive. Sasha's favorite toy is her red Kong squeaky bone, it goes most everywhere with her. She is very loving, playful, and a joy to be around. She very seldom speaks, but when she does - it is with a petite husky voice. She will make a wonderful member to the lucky individual or family that after a home visit -decides she will fit into their life style and joins their home. ##2493892##

Story
Kai is a 1.5-year-old husky with the energy of a toddler on espresso and the charm to match. He quite literally cheated death after a lifesaving surgery — because of course he did. This street-smart survivor spent a year fending for himself, and now he’s ready to trade survival mode for adventure mode (preferably one that includes hikes, runs, and mental marathons). He’s sweet, spunky, and full of life — the kind of guy who will steal your heart and your socks. Once he knows you, he’s a selective snuggler who will honor you with cuddles on his schedule (because, husky). Kai is looking for a husky-savvy home that understands “tired husky = happy husky.” If you’re an active, patient human who laughs in the face of chaos and loves a good challenge, Kai might just be your soulmate. Story
Hi. I'm Sterling! I am a young Husky with a tail full of magic. I was in a shelter and got rescued. I am smart, brave, and quick to learn. I am happy, energetic at times, playful, and a bit goofy. I am also loyal and sweet. I am looking for a family with older kids who understand me and my needs. I am about 3 years old and weigh 50 lbs. I love, love, love frozen peanut butter kongs so if you ever thing you need some quiet time, just give me one of those. It will occupy me for hours. Adopt me and let's create our own magic together! ##2038711##
