Story
Flora is a very shy girl that needs someone who will take the time and has the patience to work with her! Once she opens up she will be a great dog who loves her person/people! Since she is so shy she cannot be in a home with kids and preferably with only one or two adults. She has stranger danger and does take time to get to know you. Flora will bark at strangers. She would do best in a home being able to be with her sister Ysabel. Please call 707-459-4900 if you have any questions or to set up an appointment to meet Flora.

Story
Balanced with a bit of sweet and savory fusion, Pad Thai is sure to be a hit in any household. He is a gentle pocket-sized Shih Tzu who could use a little TLC to build his confidence and allow him to be the life of the party! This boy loves other dogs, enjoys moderate exercise, and can people watch like it's nobody's business. If you're looking for the perfect mutt to stimulate all your senses, Pad Thai surely fits the bill! He is hospice due to a tumor on his tonsils, it was completely removed but will most likely grow back. Due to this and other conditions related to his advanced age he has joined our hospice program. Here's some notes from his foster: Pad Thai, who we are calling Paddy, is doing good. Day by day he gets a little more comfy. He is a big sleeper and also loves morning sun spots on the porch. He prefers short walks. He's excellent at walking up stairs but is currently a bit too frightened of walking downstairs so he needs to be carried. He loves food and treats!

Story
Meet Spencer, a tenacious senior with a heart of gold and a gummy smile that lights up the room. Despite facing adversity in his past, Spencer embodies resilience and proves that age is just a number when it comes to finding love and happiness. When Spencer first arrived, he was in rough shape, battling a severe upper respiratory infection and sporting some intimidating snaggle teeth. Thanks to the dedicated care and attention of his foster family, along with intensive medical treatment, Spencer began his journey towards recovery. After undergoing extensive dental surgery that left him minus 13 teeth, Spencer emerged with a new lease on life and a quirky personality that shines brighter than ever. His zest for life is evident in his playful antics and bursts of activity, reminding us all that every moment is worth savoring. Now fully recovered and brimming with joy, Spencer is on the lookout for his forever family - a loving home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by warmth and affection. Despite his age, Spencer is as spirited and loving as ever, eager to share his gummy smile and heartwarming presence with those who are willing to open their hearts to him. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $700 Pebbles is a 2 year old Shih Tzu mix who is the cutest little gal you could ask for! Pebbles was rescued from a dirty backyard along with several other dogs. We had to shave her down completely to free her from her matted prison, but after a groom and a bath she felt a million times better. She was immediately showering us in grateful kisses and cuddles. Pebbles is a petite gal with gorgeous markings and an even more amazing personality. Pebbles has a non-shedding coat which makes her an option for those with allergies.    If you are looking for a permanent snuggle buddy best friend to live your best life with, look no further than Pebbles! Pebbles is incredibly sweet and has a fabulous temperament, despite how humanity treated her before she was rescued. She loves sitting next to her foster mama as she gets work done and would be a fabulous WFH companion or Zoom mascot. However, she’s also good at entertaining herself as needed when she’s left at home. Pebbles is the perfect size for a purse but she also loves her walks! Pebbles is more of a lounger than a marathoner, so if you’re hoping for a couch companion, that’s our Pebbles. Pebbles deserves to find a home ready to make her the center of their world. She will give you endless kisses once you shower her in treats and cuddles. She is going to make her lucky family so happy. She is the perfect little lapdog who would be a fabulous shopping companion. Maybe she’ll even get a closet of her own!  Pebbles starts her morning around 7 AM with cuddles and kisses for her foster parents. She heads to the backyard for a quick potty break and then gets a short walk to the mailbox. She has breakfast and then takes a nap in a soft bed while her foster mom starts the workday. In the afternoon, Pebbles gets another potty break followed by play time. After work ends for the day, Pebbles takes a walk around the neighborhood followed by monitoring the gardening activities. She has her dinner at 6 PM and then settles into the couch for well-deserved snuggles. After some more playtime, she goes out for a night potty trip and then heads to her crate at 10 PM.  Pebbles lives with a resident dog currently and they get along very well. She makes friends easily and loves to get her play on. Pebbles walks very well on a leash but will sometimes decide she is ready for some mid-walk cuddles and then ask you to carry her home. Such a Princess. Pebbles gets along well with all humans but due to her small size, little kiddos would likely overwhelm her. Pebbles is such a lovely pup and is just so excited to meet her forever people!    Pebbles is an option for those with prior dog experience. Interested homes must be prepared to discuss grooming. Kids in the home should be over the age of 10.June 21, 2024, 2:45 pm
