Her low energy makes her a perfect companion for peaceful afternoons, but don't be fooled, she still has a spunky spirit that defies her age. She is currently on the mends and healing from skin issues and loss of hair that her prior owner neglected to treat! She is currently on thyroid tabs, apoquil and cold protein wet dog food (duck, rabbit) to assist with her inflammation and healing. She loves to take car rides, lays in her bed and sleeps like a baby! She walks great on a a leash and loves to wear her winter jacket on her outings! Do you have room in your heart to give her a loving home while she enjoys her senior years? Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
