Squash is sweet, gentle, and curious, with a heart full of love for the people he trusts. Once he's comfortable with you, he loves to be held, stay near his person, and show you just how affectionate he can be. Squash has the energy you'd expect from a young puppy. He's extremely energetic and requires frequent activity, mental stimulation, and structured outlets to keep him happy and balanced. He loves to chew on his toys and toy bones, and a fenced yard would be wonderful for letting him run and burn off that puppy energy, though it's not a requirement. Here's what makes Squash special and what he needs: he's a little shy and nervous until he feels comfortable. New sounds, people, and experiences can feel scary to this tiny guy, and he needs a patient family who will support him as he learns that the world isn't meant to be frightening.
