They are now in a NJ foster home. Oreo and Teddy have been together for over 7 years and we would prefer they are adopted together. They are cute boys who have moved around a lot in the last year. Oreo is a little more shy then Teddy.  He does not like to be picked up until he is comfortable with the person and he does bark some. Oreo and Teddy are friendly with other dogs and love to play with toys. They walk well on a leash. They have been fixed, microchipped and they are up to date on vaccines.  They are heartworm negative.  The adoption fee for the pair is $500.   How to Adopt Me! Gizmo is our 3 year old Shih Tzu Mix. Gizmo does have a history of biting and would do best in a home with someone experienced that has the knowledge and resources to train Gizmo and help him overcome his behavioral issues. Gizmo will not be adopted out to a home with children...he does however, love other dogs and would not mind being a second dog. Please stop by our shelter and spend time with him to see if he is the right match for you. Our experienced staff is available to talk with you, answer your questions and provide advice on how to transition him to your home.Gizmo is neutered, dewormed and is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. My name is JINGLE, and I am a happy gal I am a sweet 9-year-old SHIHTZU weighing over 11 pounds. I live with the dogs in my foster home and love being outside in the sun and going for walks. Then snuggling up with you on the couch. I came to my Rescue n pretty bad shape, suffering from allergies, But with a vet visit and nice soothing medical shampoo, which I am bathed with every other day, My skin is clearing up, and all my fur growing in, as you can see by these pictures. Meet Iris, our newest bebe who is really just a little pup that has gone through so much already. Iris is sadly blind, very thin, and has some neurological issues we are trying to diagnose right now. We believe she may have a liver shunt or potentially granulomatous meningo-encephalomyelitis, which is fancy talk for an inflammatory disease of the nervous system or brain. She is so sweet, but is lethargic, likely due to whatever is causing her to be ill. We are currently looking for a foster willing to take her to her neurology appointments, but are also deeply in need of donations for her care. Iris is such a sweet little noodle, and we hope that we can get her worked up soon so she can get back to being a playful little puppy!

Fruit Fly goes potty outside and sleeps through the night in a crate, but might cry in there a little bit during the day. He is very curious (we've been calling him George). He is easily distracted outside so if you need him to potty it might take a bit if there are a lot of people/dogs around. He'll walk really well in a calmer area but is nervous and gets a little scared on busy streets. I think this is something he can overcome with patience and treats. He has the cutest little prance around the house and the happiest tail wag. He loves to look at his reflection in the mirror. He is very chill and just wants to lay around or next to you on the couch. He is just starting to pick up interest in toys and figuring out what to do. He can be a bit afraid of large dogs or people coming at him but I think he'd do fine with kids who know how to approach a dog. It's clear he has been handled a lot in the past as you can touch his pads and remove ticks without him even flinching. Has not barked at all.
