You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Benny is a handsome Shih Tzu who is looking for a new home. Benny is now in a NJ foster home, living his best life! Benny was surrendered by his owner to our partner rescue in Louisiana when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. Family members took him initially, but were unable to keep him long term. Our partner rescue got him groomed and got him the medical care he needed. Benny is dog and kid friendly. He loves everyone he meets on our walks, and especially seems to enjoy children. He's a very sweet boy who really likes to cuddle. We haven't seen him with cats, but his Louisiana foster said he's fine with them. Benny is living with 4 small dogs in his foster home, but he's been fine meeting larger dogs as well. He is crate trained and non destructive in his foster home. Benny is mostly housetrained, but will potty on pads as well. Benny is neutered, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. Meet Baby Valentine! This adorable Shih Tzu mix was named because he was surrendered on Valentine’s Day. Despite inheriting seizures from his dad, Baby Valentine is too busy being the happiest pup to notice! Baby Valentine needs to take his meds every day (one of them every eight hours—yes, he has a schedule!), but don’t worry—they're very inexpensive. He’s used to taking them without fuss and goes right back to playing with every toy he can find and running around with his foster sister, trying to show her that he’s just as big and brave as she is! He needs a special human who can keep up with his meds routine. Baby Valentine is a ball of energy who loves everyone and everything! Now, he’s looking for his forever home. Baby Valentine gets along great with other dogs, though he hasn't been tested with cats yet. He’s doing really well with leash training and is already pee pad trained. Plus, he’s getting the hang of using the bathroom outside. At only about 10 lbs, he’s a small pup who won’t grow much bigger. Meet Bourbon! He’s a shih tzu mix (mom is a shih tzu, dad is a schnauzer) who was surrendered from a backyard breeder due to seizures. He takes inexpensive medication four times a day, but he’s not happy about it, so his foster mom continuously comes up with new ways to get him to take it. He’s doing great in his foster home with other small dogs. He’s a 6 pound ball of energy who loves to play, but he will also snuggle up on his foster mom’s lap. He loves toys!!
