They are now in a NJ foster home. Oreo and Teddy have been together for over 7 years and we would prefer they are adopted together. They are cute boys who have moved around a lot in the last year. Oreo is a little more shy then Teddy.  He does not like to be picked up until he is comfortable with the person and he does bark some. Oreo and Teddy are friendly with other dogs and love to play with toys. They walk well on a leash. They have been fixed, microchipped and they are up to date on vaccines.  They are heartworm negative.  The adoption fee for the pair is $500.   How to Adopt Me! Snoopy is a 4 yr old shih tzu mix. Meet Iris, our newest bebe who is really just a little pup that has gone through so much already. Iris is sadly blind, very thin, and has some neurological issues we are trying to diagnose right now. We believe she may have a liver shunt or potentially granulomatous meningo-encephalomyelitis, which is fancy talk for an inflammatory disease of the nervous system or brain. She is so sweet, but is lethargic, likely due to whatever is causing her to be ill. We are currently looking for a foster willing to take her to her neurology appointments, but are also deeply in need of donations for her care. Iris is such a sweet little noodle, and we hope that we can get her worked up soon so she can get back to being a playful little puppy!

Hey there! I’m San Matteo! Named after one of the best Italian pizza places here in the UES! I live in the upper east side with my foster mom, foster sister Ivy (70# pitbull) and foster sister Sissy the cat! I love it here it’s so fun! I love playing with both my foster sisters and especially like greeting the pups, people and even kids in the neighborhood! My mom even brings me to the bar sometimes even though I’m only 4…shhh! I was found in Georgia in the streets and my fur was so long and matted my skin hurt really bad so the shelter took me in and got me a nice groom! But now my skin is healing, but my fur is coming back and boy do I look like a STUD! My mom told me I’m a shih tzu mix, but I don’t know my family so we can’t be sure. But I do know I am 100% fun and sweet! I sleep all night either in my dog bed or with my foster mom and I don’t mind when she leaves the house because I just do my relaxin. I do love when my foster mom gets home though because we go for walks and I love walking! Even though I’m a little guy I can walk for a long time it’s so fun. Anyways if you want to meet me come by my mom is always around and I’d love to meet you. Hoping I’ll find my furrever family soon.
