Chanel is in NJ waiting for a foster or adopter Introducing Chanel This little Shih Tzu–Pomeranian mix is brand new to our rescue, and we’re already smitten! Chanel is a bit shy at first, but her sweetness shines through in the softest ways — a wag of her tail, a curious glance, and that adorable little face that melts hearts instantly. She’s met the other dogs and cats in her foster home and didn’t seem to mind them one bit. She’s not quite ready to join in on playtime yet, but she’s quietly taking it all in. (And bonus points: she’s been using her wee&#226&#128&#145wee pads like a pro! ) We’re still getting to know this precious girl, but she’s already showing us that gentle, happy spirit just waiting to bloom. Stay tuned as we learn more about our sweet Chanel — she’s going to make someone very, very lucky. She will be up to date on vaccines. Wag On Inn will arrange for neuter at The Spay and Neuter Center of New Jersey in Holmdel. Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel, NJ. His adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. He is a great little dog but has mobility issues in his back legs. It doesnt stop him from getting around though. he goes down steps but then barks to get up the steps cause he just cant do it with his back legs. He uses them, but then they give out. We had another little one like this so not sure if it was due to an injury or a disc problem. He is sweet as can be and just a good boy. He is probably a senior at 9 or so. Happy, loves to eat, barks to go outside or get off of things he cant jump down from. Smart Smart boy. Mighty Mouse was recently adopted from an underfunded shelter while she recovered from spaying. She was found as a stray so keep in mind, we don’t know her background. We decided to adopt after our rescued pup meshed so well in our family. While Mighty fits right in and has been adjusting so well, we realized that the allergies we have been able to manage with our first dog are acting up with Mighty. The vet seemed to think she was a Shih Tzu mix but whatever the mix is unfortunately hasn’t been working for our allergies. She has not had any accidents indoor since we got her (1/31/26) and goes potty quickly outside. She can be sassy when meeting new people/things (may growl/ bark at weird noises or people/ dogs approaching) but I feel it is a defense mechanism. She has allowed strangers to approach and pet her when asking her consent. She does need a little training for manners but is otherwise so sweet and smart, already picking up behaviors from our resident pup.
