Story

Charlie, a 2-year-old dog, was born on a farm in PA. He can sometimes be wary around men and has some separation anxiety. While he is not destructive, he requires three walks a day and appreciates a consistent schedule. The usual walking times are 6 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. It is preferable for Charlie to go to a home with a yard. He gets along well with dogs of his size and loves being around children. However, his reaction to cats is unknown. Charlie is not a fan of hugs but enjoys sleeping close to his owner and human siblings. He is not crate-trained and does not tolerate crates well. Although he is potty trained, he may use a pad if unable to go on his regular walks. He prefers a harness over a neck leash and enjoys wearing doggy clothes/jackets. Charlie is up-to-date on all vaccinations, has a rabies license, and is microchipped. Because Charlie is not neutered, I'm not charging an adoption fee. My desire is to place him in a good home where he will be loved and cared for.

Story

Charlie is 2 years old, he was born on a farm in PA. He can be wary around certain men. Charlie does have some separation anxiety. He is not destructive but does need to be walked three times a day. He likes a schedule. We usually walk him at 6 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. We prefer he goes to a home with a yard. He gets along with other dogs his size. He loves kids. We do not know how he would interact with a cat. Charlie is not a hugger but loves to sleep near his owner and his human siblings. He does not sleep in a crate and does not do well in a carte. Although his is potty train we leave a pad out for him for when we are unable to go on his schedule walks as he does not do good on holding his pee for long periods of time. He prefers a harness, we do not like neck leashes, Charlie loves wearing doggy clothes/jackets. Charlie is up to date on all vaccination, has his rabies license and is microchipped.

Meet Tipsy Down! This sweet little Shih Tzu boy is an absolute love. He is about 10 pounds and three years old. He came to us as a breeder Surrender. He absolutely loves other dogs and has done fine with the cats he has met. He loves hanging out on the lap of his foster mom with all his other doggy friends. his foster mom said he’s doing much better at his house training and he is perfectly crate trained at night. He will definitely need practice on a leash, but we think this boy is worth a little work and will repay you with so much love. Even though Tipsy is young, he did have a heart murmur. That was about a two out of six. Due to the heart murmur, he did have a complete general bloodwork profile done. He also had a dental cleaning, and a baby tooth was removed. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
