Story
We found lovely Appa (+ bonded Kuma) in our shed a year ago. https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47671867-brooklyn-park-minnesota-cat Unfortunately we are unable to house him due to family circumstances. He is a sweet and independent boy but was unfortunately left a little too young and will "knead" and suck blankets/ soft fabrics. He can get very affectionate when he starts to knead. He has a sensitive stomach and needs gradual food incorporation. He can be very sneaky and will eat from trash bags or left out food. He also does not like his paws touched, so it can be difficult to trim his nails. Does not do well in a loud or busy household/ kids but would do great in a calm environment. He loves to lay in boxes and small/curved spaces. It may take some time to get Appa to warm up to you but after some time he is a very sweet and charming boy kitty. p.s. his special talent is getting away with things with his adorable mitten paws (he's polydactyl)

Story
Meet Firefly, a gentle and reserved feline who is ready to find a patient and loving forever home. By about one year old, Firefly had already faced some challenges, having come from a difficult hoarding situation. As a result, he tends to be shy and cautious around new people and environments. However, with time and gentle encouragement, Firefly gradually reveals his sweet and affectionate nature. Firefly's quiet demeanor makes him an easygoing companion, and he gets along wonderfully with other cats. He finds comfort in the company of his feline friends and would thrive in a household with other cats who can help him feel secure and at ease. If you're looking for a calm and gentle cat who will flourish with love and patience, Firefly is the perfect addition to your family. Adopt Firefly and give this shy guy the chance to shine and become a cherished member of your home. Story
Saffron came to us as a tiny kitten and has grown into the sweetest, most loving little guy you could imagine. He’s everything you’d expect from a young kitty — playful, curious, and always ready for fun! He absolutely loves toys and enjoys romping around with other cats. At about 12 weeks old, Saffron had an adopter lined up, but shortly after, he developed megacolon — a condition that causes severe constipation. It took many vet visits and trying different medications before we found the right one for him. The good news? He has been doing fantastic for the last three months! Saffron will need to remain on a daily medication (about $60 per month), which he takes easily when mixed into his food. It’s become just a simple part of his routine. You truly wouldn’t know anything was ever wrong — he feels great, acts like a normal happy kitty, and doesn’t let anything slow him down. Saffron is ready for a committed home that understands his condition and will continue his care so he can keep thriving. In return, you’ll get a sweet, playful, affectionate companion who will fill your home with joy. Could you be the special family Saffron has been waiting for? Story
Skye is an 8-year-old Siamese mix who has been a loved part of our family for many years. She was found as a tiny kitten along the side of the road in 2018 and became our teenager’s pet. During COVID, and a move on our part, my mom took her in, and they quickly bonded. Due to my elderly mom's declining health, she can no longer care for Skye, and we want to find her a home that better suits her personality and needs. We have taken Skye in again, but have since gotten another cat. Despite efforts we cannot convince the two to get along. Skye is independent, strong-willed, and a bit of a “slow burn.” She prefers affection on her own terms, but with time and trust she becomes affectionate and enjoys lap time, head butts, and forehead kisses. She may not give the best first impression, as siamese are known for, but patience pays off. She wants to be an only cat. She lives with two Labs and does well if they respect her space. She is primarily an indoor cat but enjoys time outside.

Story
Auden is an 8-year-old gentle boy looking for his forever home. This sweet, sensitive cat may be shy at first, but with a little patience, his affectionate personality begins to shine. In a new environment, you'll often find him tucked away in his cozy cave bed. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Auden loves to give head bumps, soak up attention, and curl up in his favorite person's lap. He is also happy to simply relax nearby, keeping his humans company while they go about their day.Auden has a moderate energy level and enjoys a balance of playtime and quiet companionship. His favorite toys are wand and ribbon toys, especially when he can pounce from the comfort of a box or his cave bed. Watching him swat, chase, and chomp at his moving target is a great way to win his heart.Currently, Auden lives with his foster mom and a resident cat. He would love a feline friend who is interested in playing, as he seems to gain confidence from the company of other cats. In fact, Auden often appears more comfortable around cats than humans!Auden's ideal adopter will understand that trust takes time and be willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels secure, he rewards that patience with affection and companionship. He especially enjoys being pet along his back and may invite head pets with a gentle head bump first.Auden is declawed, neutered, and gets along well with other cats. He has not yet been exposed to dogs or children. He also had dental work completed when he arrived at Pet Haven and may need dental care again as he gets older. If you're looking for a kindhearted companion who will blossom with patience and love, Auden may be the perfect match for you.- - - - - - - - - - - - -There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
