She was a rescue dog, kept with her two male siblings and was extremely timid as they bullied her. She’s come out of her shell here with us and my dogs and is doing fantastic. All of my dogs sleep in the room at night so they are house trained. She’s fantastic with kids and cats but a little shy at first. She was not socialized much for her first year of life. Her hair is wary rather curly so she is a no shed dog, but not curly which is good because wary hair does not mat and needs very little Grooming. We are located in Harrison, Arkansas, but the adoption fee does cover the transport to your location. Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without waying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. Gigi, a gorgeous, female, silver standard poodle, was rescued from a local shelter on 11/6/23, and her age was guesstimated to be about a year and a half. She weighed 41.4 pounds and was a little thin. While her coat wasn’t terrible, hair completely covered her beautiful eyes so that you couldn’t see them. After being brought up to date on vaccinations, she was groomed and it was easy to see what a gorgeous girl she is and her sweetness is every bit as spectacular as her looks. The groomer said that as she gets older her color will lighten to the color of her face, which was a beautiful silver color. The groomer said she is what is called a silver poodle. At the shelter they said she was good with everybody, dogs, cats, and people, and that definitely seems to be the case. She rides well in the car and in fact, she seems to love to ride in the car. She walks well on a leash and has not had any accidents in her foster mom’s house. She is an all-round super sweet girl. She is microchipped and was scheduled to be spayed on 11/16/23 but after her tummy upset continued and was not responding to meds the vet gave her, she became extremely ill and had to be hospitalized for 8 days. All tests came back negative, but she began to get better with the administration of Prednisone which led our vet to believe she might have Addison’s. She was rail thin when she was released back to the care of her foster mom. Our vet wanted her to weigh 50 pounds before she was spayed. She finally gained the weight and was spayed and tested heartworm negative on 3/12/24. Her daily dosage of prednisone was slowly decreased to 5 mg every other day, by the end of March and she is doing fantastic. We feel she is ready to find her forever home. Gigi is located in Arkansas and her foster mom thinks she is the best. The adoption donation for Gigi is $865 which includes the $165 transport fee. Hi there, I am a handsome brown and white purebred Standard Parti Poodle born on 12/20/23 making me almost 1 year old and I currently weigh 44 lbs. I was living in Texas with my owner when she became ill and gave me to her brother, who gave me to a friend who surrendered me to 4 Little Paws Rescue because I was too young and playful for her senior dog. I have gone through so many hands at this point that I’m not sure where I live and who I’m supposed to fall in love with, so I am looking for a real honest-to-goodness forever home. I am vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and I'm a sweetheart! Despite my confusing past, I am a happy boy who makes friends easily with everyone young and old, and am great with other dogs. I am very playful, learning to play fetch, catch, sit, and wait, and am proving myself to be one smart boy! I am extremely affectionate, desperately wanting someone to love and bond with, and will follow you everywhere, share kisses, and jump up and down when I see you walk in. I am a good boy, rarely bark, potty trained, and basically crate trained, although I would like a treat when asked to go in. I LOVE to go on walks and LOVE to go on rides in the car. Any adventure we can go on together would make me the happiest boy in town!
