Luna is a very quiet cat that keeps to herself during the day and comes out in the evening for petting and hanging out. She gets along with other animals as she typically just avoids them. She is not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be held for too long. She is a gentle cat that would be best in a quiet home. Also, she can be left alone all day and doesn’t make a lot of noise. We are starting to babysit our grandchildren and one of them is sensitive to cats.

Penny is a very sweet, playful girl. She gets along with children and other cats most of the time. She was born in June 2025. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in TN but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

This handsome guy is incredibly social and loves to 'talk.' Oso is constantly trilling, chirping, and carrying on conversations with both humans and feline friends. If he's looking for attention or trying to convince someone to play, you'll definitely hear about it! Oso is an active cat who enjoys interactive play and would do best with a playful feline companion. Having spent part of his life outdoors, he can sometimes get a little enthusiastic during playtime, so he needs a confident cat friend who enjoys companionship and can set clear boundaries when needed. When Oso finds a buddy he clicks with, the two can entertain each other for hours. After an exciting play session, Oso appreciates having some quiet time to decompress before he's ready for more fun. He also loves the simple pleasures in life—stretching out in a sunny spot, exploring cardboard boxes, and curling up beside his people for a nap. Oso does not get along with dogs and would be happiest either as an only pet receiving plenty of attention or in a home with a compatible feline companion. Peter and Asher were lucky boys to end up at MeowTown when they were surrendered.  They were found as kittens in a box at a job site and the family brought them home however 2 years later their situation changed and they needed to surrender them to a rescue they trusted. MeowTown seemed the perfect place for them since they're good with people, cats, and dogs.  Initially they were very shy in the new place but when a hand went out to pet them, they gladly accepted the love that was being given as they wait for their new family.  Despite their shyness, once they warm up, they become the most affectionate companions. Their gentle demeanor makes them perfect for a calm and loving home. -- Otis is a curious cat who is very shy about coming out of his comfortable dark spot. Once you get him comfortable, he sometimes emerges and likes to wander. He doesn't mind being picked up and cuddled on occasion.
