Female, ~3 years old, ~42 lbs. Approximate Age: ~3 years old Approximate Weight/Size: Medium Good with: Dogs Not tested with: Cats, Kids Hi, I'm Sage! I am both quirky and outgoing, not to mention the cutest hound on the block. I am always on the go and ready for my next adventure! I would love to join an active family who enjoys being outside and who will shower me with tons of affection. I am a go getter who gets along great with other pups and loves every human I meet. I am not a real 'stop and smell the roses' type of pup -- when I'm out and about I like to go, go, go and smell and greet everyone I meet. I have tons of energy and love going on walks and adventures with my humans. I could even be a good running buddy! Despite this, I still get nervous around loud noises such as lawn mowers, but I'd still be happy in a city. After I've gotten my zoomies out, I enjoy snuggling on the sofa. As I mentioned, I'm a total social butterfly. I'm so gentle and affectionate to everyone I meet. I love getting and giving affection -- if you've had a bad day at work, you'll come home and I'll give you all the love in the world and you'll forget all of your worries! I'm also very friendly with other dogs, and love the dog park and playing with other pups. I would do well with another dog in the home that matches my energy to keep me entertained. I'm good on leash for a dog who's never had any formal training, but I still zig zag when I am trying to smell everything in my path. I have quite the trot and move to the beat of my own music! I also love to chew, so I would keeping bones and chew toys around is important. I am crate trained mostly, but sometimes I request a treat before heading into my crate. I am still learning house training, after all I am still a puppy! For example, i n true hound fashion, I will counter surf if given the opportunity. I would love to join a family who would be willing to get me some basic obedience training. I can also sometimes show signs of separation anxiety when my humans go away, so I would love some help with that as well. Whether it's my megawatt smile or my loving hugs, I'm simply a bundle of joy and love.
