Pepsi is a neutered Treeing Walker Coonhound mix born on 10/30/23. He is a 65 lb bundle of love with the most beautiful hazel eyes. He's playful, affectionate, friendly, laid back and loves his toys. He likes to play with dogs his size or bigger after a proper introduction to a new companion. He loves the AC and sitting on the couch or bed watching TV. He can jump a 4 ft fence to be with his foster friends so proper containment should be high enough and reinforced at the bottom. He likes to go for car rides and loves to snuggle up with his doggie friends. Pepsi is potty trained, crate trained, and doggie door trained. He's doing well with leash training, still pulls like a typical hound puppy so needs some help walking on leash. Pepsi loves his family time and wants to be your best friend forever! Adoption fee $50. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. 5 yrs old, 60 lbs Personality: calm, quiet, eager-to-please, smart, adaptable, gentle, easygoing, goofy/funny, and loyal If you are looking for an easygoing, adaptive boy, Willie could just be your match! He is happiest going on sniff walks and is so joyful about it! He plays independently with his toys but also happily lets you in on the fun if you want to throw the toy or play tug. He LOVES toys that squeak and will toss them around. It is so cute watching him hop around. Willie is an award winning* hound and an all-around handsome, snuggly boy. He keeps a quiet watch over the neighborhood from his post at the front window of our house, happily monitoring the comings and goings of everyone nearby. We’ve even caught a couple of people waving to him from the sidewalk! He loves to use his brain and go for "sniff walks" with his foster parents. He has been known to fall asleep so deeply after his afternoon walk that he has to be woken up when it’s dinner time, which is shocking because he also loves to eat. He also likes to snooze with his butt in contact with someone he loves. Willie really is the best of both worlds, playful and excited for outdoor adventures and then calm and sweet inside the house. This smart boy took to housetraining and crate training like a pro and already knows the words “sit” and “stay”. Always eager to please, he responds well to corrections and will sit (with great excitement) when you tell him "down". He does not bark or howl at all, which is surprising for a hound. Overall he is just a fantastic dog!
