**SENIOR**  Sweet, affable, and simply adorable, Huck (aka Huckleberry Hound) is everything a hound should be.  He loves to sniff, he is a happy guy, and at 9 years old he is quite chill!  He is easy in the house - very well behaved. Huck wants to be near his people. His foster tells us he spends most of his day sleeping but is ready for a walk every few hours and food whenever it is given to him.  He LOVES going for walks.  He doesn't pull hard (unless a silly squirrel lets him get close) but finds great joy in sniffing all the great smells.  However he is a big boy at 90 pounds so he does need someone who can handle that.  While waiting for his food to be put down his tail is constantly wiggling while he sits. He is generally quiet in the house unless he hears dogs in the neighborhood barking and wants to see why.  Huck is not all that interested in toys.  He gets into his open crate on his own at bedtime and sleeps there all night with the door open.  He is house-trained.  He is good about not getting on the furniture and loves his cozy bed.  A good boy who loves to please, Huck will make a great companion for an individual or a family.  With a loving person who will give him walks, guidance, and affection, he will be a faithful companion and best friend. Huck loves neck and belly rubs and ear scratches. He wants to connect with people, and he will appreciate the comforts of a home and a soft touch. Pepsi is a neutered Treeing Walker Coonhound mix born on 10/30/23. He is a 65 lb bundle of love with the most beautiful hazel eyes. He's playful, affectionate, friendly, laid back and loves his toys. He likes to play with dogs his size or bigger after a proper introduction to a new companion. He loves the AC and sitting on the couch or bed watching TV. He can jump a 4 ft fence to be with his foster friends so proper containment should be high enough and reinforced at the bottom. He likes to go for car rides and loves to snuggle up with his doggie friends. Pepsi is potty trained, crate trained, and doggie door trained. He's doing well with leash training, still pulls like a typical hound puppy so needs some help walking on leash. Pepsi loves his family time and wants to be your best friend forever! Adoption fee $50. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. This sweet handsome boy came to Mutt Love from a NC shelter where they euthanize dogs who are in the shelter longer than days.  Ranger deserved a chance at a happy life and a loving home so we made him part of the Mutt Love family.  Ranger is estimated at about 2-3 years old currently weighs about 55 pounds, although he does need to put on a few pounds.  Ranger is heartworm positive and is beginning treatment soon at our vet. Alvin is fabulous! More than just a beautiful dog, he is housetrained, crate trained, rides well in the car, GREAT with other dogs, and good with the young kids in his foster home. We are not sure what his situation was before, but it does take him a few days to get comfortable in a new home. He will gently sit in a corner and observe quietly. He can be completely trusted and non-destructive. Another dog would help his confidence tremendously. He desperately wants to be loved and everyday he works up a little more courage.
