Story
Coco was born on September 29, 2024. He has one sister and two brothers. He is super sweet with a big personality! His mother is half yorki and half chihuahua and his father is a full Pomeranian and came out looking like neither one them with beautiful golden eyes. He is super obedient and he is very fond of cats and thinks he’s a bird sometimes as he will climb onto your shoulders when you crouch down. He loves people and is just happy to be alive.

Story
This little guy has been through so much and deserves a home where he can feel safe and loved! When Dexter joined the rescue five months ago, he needed extensive medical care—including the removal of his damaged right eye, a dental, and a neuter. Once he recovered, he underwent surgery to repair his left leg, followed by another procedure eight weeks later to fix his right leg. Now that he’s feeling much better, Dexter enjoys a more relaxed lifestyle and prefers to do his own thing—often lounging comfortably in his playpen. Dexter is a bit "spicy" so his new owner will need to take it slow with him and let him adjust to his new environment. Dexter is a 10-year-old, 8 lb Yorkie mix who would thrive in a calm environment with no young children (under 15) or energetic dogs. While he’s not a fan of kennels, he travels perfectly in a carrier. Due to his time on the streets, he occasionally has a marking habit, so we recommend using a belly band initially. If you’re ready to give Dexter the loving, peaceful home he deserves, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2219852##

Story
Bubba is a funny little guy with a little sass that is looking for a loving foster home to relax in while he awaits his heartworm treatment. He is on a behavior plan so he would benefit from being in a foster home that can continue to work with him with his confidence building and provide space when needed. Reason for Foster: Heartworm Positive & Elevated liver values (Improved) Foster Timeframe: 2+ months (The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.) Foster Care Plan: Bubba is heartworm positive and will have his first treatment scheduled for 6/17. Until his first heartworm treatment, he will need medication given twice a day. A medical consultation will be provided at your pickup appointment so you are prepared to confidently take great care of this sweet boy. To learn more about heartworm treatment, check out this guide: https://operation-kindness-foster.my.canva.site/heartworms-foster-guide Foster to Adopt Program: Bubba is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
