Story
Ben was born in a high kill shelter on 2/3/2021. He was a day old when we brought him home along with his 10 siblings and his mother. All that remains is Ben and his mom Lily. They have been waiting patiently. But now it is thThis is Ben and he has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since he was a newborn. He is now going on three years old. We aren’t sure why he hasn’t found his “furever” home. He’s such a handsome guy. We believe he is an Akita/American Pit Bull mix. Ben is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and he’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, he walks away. Ben is energetic and loves to go outdoors. He’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of his favorite things to play with is a ball. Something he does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this guy because he will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and he is very content. Ben’s adoption fee is $25, which includes his full vetting.

Story
DOB - Feb. 10, 2020 Reason for rehoming: My son (owner) moved to Africa. I cannot keep him due to my lease. If he cannot be rehomed, he will have to go to a shelter. The local Akita rescue is not accepting any new dogs. Alpha is a sweet and devoted American Akita looking for a forever home where he can thrive. He is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and naturally protective of his family—once he bonds with you, he is your shadow and your biggest fan. Alpha does have environmental allergies, so he’ll need an adopter who can continue his care and keep him comfortable. He cannot be boarded, so he needs a family who can provide in-home care or trusted at-home pet sitting when traveling. He loves being near his people, enjoys calm environments, and does best with someone who understands large guardian breeds. Alpha will make an amazing companion for the right person or family—someone who values loyalty, connection, and a dog who truly loves his humans.

Story
Meet Louie - A gentle boy ready for a loving home!Louie is a 5-year-old Pomsky with a heart as big as his smile. Recently diagnosed with diabetes, he takes his medication like a champ. His eye sight has been damaged from his condition going untreated for so long but he really gets around great! Louie is one of those easygoing, gentle souls who loves everyone—dogs and people, kids included, alike. He enjoys going for walks and spending time with his humans, though he can’t get too overactive because of his condition. Louie has impeccable house manners and is truly an easy boy to love.  He would do best in a home where he can stick to his regular meal and insulin schedule, but beyond that, he just wants to be by your side. Louie has so much love to give and asks for very little in return—just a caring family who will give him a loving, steady home. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion, Louie is your guy! ##2555582##
