Story
Ben was born in a high kill shelter on 2/3/2021. He was a day old when we brought him home along with his 10 siblings and his mother. All that remains is Ben and his mom Lily. They have been waiting patiently. But now it is thThis is Ben and he has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since he was a newborn. He is now going on three years old. We aren’t sure why he hasn’t found his “furever” home. He’s such a handsome guy. We believe he is an Akita/American Pit Bull mix. Ben is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and he’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, he walks away. Ben is energetic and loves to go outdoors. He’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of his favorite things to play with is a ball. Something he does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this guy because he will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and he is very content. Ben’s adoption fee is $25, which includes his full vetting.

Story
DOB - Feb. 10, 2020 Reason for rehoming: My son (owner) moved to Africa. I cannot keep him due to my lease. If he cannot be rehomed, he will have to go to a shelter. The local Akita rescue is not accepting any new dogs. Alpha is a sweet and devoted American Akita looking for a forever home where he can thrive. He is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and naturally protective of his family—once he bonds with you, he is your shadow and your biggest fan. Alpha does have environmental allergies, so he’ll need an adopter who can continue his care and keep him comfortable. He cannot be boarded, so he needs a family who can provide in-home care or trusted at-home pet sitting when traveling. He loves being near his people, enjoys calm environments, and does best with someone who understands large guardian breeds. Alpha will make an amazing companion for the right person or family—someone who values loyalty, connection, and a dog who truly loves his humans.

Story
These 12 week old Akita/Husky mixes and are officially ready for adoption. Sokka (23.4 lbs) and Korra (21.2 lbs) are gaining confidence every day and would do best in homes with a confident canine companion (they will not be adopted together). They are doing well with crate training but are still working through accidents when out of the crate. Both absolutely love being outside and but are not fans of cold weather! Due to their breed makeup, we will not be placing them in an apartment. If you would like to apply to adopt one of these adorable pups, please visit www.rescuerowinc.org. Our adoption requirements are listed on the website. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2613191##

Story
Teddy was one of three strays moving about in our neighborhood for a prolonged amount of time. A neighbor of my wife and I decided to help us capture them so they wouldn't be hit on the busy highway road running through town. The other two dogs were homed but we kept Teddy. We are a multi-dog household. For years this has not been an issue but recently Teddy and one of other dogs, Wesker, have been challenging and fixating on one another. They must now be kept separate at all times. Teddy and our others never have any issues and they regularly play and cohabitate with no issues. Teddy likes to be rather independent but still enjoys social time with his human and running with our other dogs. He definitely likes to relax but is always happy to accept attention from his owner! I think Teddy would benefit from having an owner that likes an independent dog that is content to take it easy most of the time but also occasionally wants to run, jump, and play :)

Story
Meet Louie!Louie is a 5-year-old Pomsky with a heart as big as his smile. Recently diagnosed with diabetes, he takes his medication like a champ. His eye sight has been damaged from his condition going untreated for so long but he really gets around great! Louie is one of those easygoing, gentle souls who loves everyone—dogs and people, kids included, alike. He enjoys going for walks and spending time with his humans, though he can’t get too overactive because of his condition. Louie has impeccable house manners and is truly an easy boy to love.  He would do best in a home where he can stick to his regular meal and insulin schedule, but beyond that, he just wants to be by your side. Louie has so much love to give and asks for very little in return—just a caring family who will give him a loving, steady home. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion, Louie is your guy! ##2555582##

She’s house-, crate-, and leash-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and might even sneak a blanket or pillow outside to make her sunny lounging spot extra cozy. This smart, energetic girl would likely enjoy occasional doggy daycare or group training classes to keep her mind busy and her tail wagging   To meet Bella in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences.
