Story
The original owner adopted him and changed their mind almost instantly and neglected him, so I took him in to avoid any more neglect. He lost a good bit of weight before I took him in. I cannot keep him since I have other pets and a full time job as well as no time to tend to his needs, he is very sweet only a year old and loves to play and run. He is not a bad dog but had a bad owner.

Story
It would be hard to find a sweeter, more low key companion than Labrador mix Bashful Boy. At 10-years old, life may have slowed him down a bit, but has only increased his cuteness. Not only does he have an adorable face, but at 41 lbs, he's the perfect size and full of heart.   Bashful Bob has a unique and endearing way of vocalizing and expressing himself when telling his foster mommy he's hungry or needs to go potty. It is so entertaining and makes him extra special in the best possible way. He is a quiet, calm soul whose perfect day would consist of human companionship, sunbathing when weather allows, and a curious romp around a fenced in backyard.   This well-mannered guy is completely housebroken, is dog friendly and is non-destructive. Other than having basic needs, he prefers to be around his human and sometimes has separation anxiety, but that's only because he's got so much love to give! Bashful Boy would do well with another confident but mellow senior pup or as an only dog. Due to arthritis in his hip, common with a boy of his age, he requires an adult-only home with no stairs (or very few).  Though he's on medication, due to his aches,  he is best suited in a home with only older kids 10+ years old and older, who can be respectful and gentle and understand he hurts sometimes.    One look at Bashful Boy's irresistible face melts hearts. As a hoarder survivor, he craves and deserves the easy life with a best human friend at his side. Could that be you?      An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. IZZY - PURE AMERICAN BULLDOG FEMALE, ~ 3 YRS. OLD Temporary Foster Home Needed - 4 weeks (Month of May '24) METRO ATLANTA AREA Beautiful short video on a hearing-impaired dog adopted after 3 years (below) https://www.facebook.com/share/r/r8jPAmD4r1fk7f2n/?mibextid=UalRPS Bonds Easily to her human; easy to keep; low exercise; entertains herself. See how adorable/funny Izzy is w-this 25-second video (copy/paste in browser)!   https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1lxJHPXrfPQ    You will fall in LOVE WITH THIS GIRL :  Obedient, Well Trained, Walks well on a Leah, Loves the Car, Playful - a Real Comedy Routine, too! Izzy is a stunning short, squat, pure bred American Bulldog; now 4 years old and weighs 46lbs. As a tiny sick pup, she was first dumped at a high kill shelter in Bullock County, GA, and was adopted by a person that discovered she was deaf, as many white bull dogs are, when home, and because she was a messy and sick pup, dumped her again! Our rescue took her in, fully vetted her (she is perfectly healthy, heartworm negative, spayed and all vaccinations); Her deafness is NO issue; she is like any other dog; understands easy hand signals and facial expressions: SIT; STAY, COME, LEAVE IT, ETC.  SO Easy to Keep! Initially our rescue adopted her to a family with one other dog (a male) and was a vet!  Izzy was doing great! BUT two years later, the living situation changed - more dogs, a baby, elderly parents, chaos!  Uug, TOO much for Izzy, too stressed, she didn’t like the female dogs, but loved the male dog, and all the people! BEST HOME:  Low Energy Stable Home with people who love to give her all the attention; snuggle with her, fenced yard; large male dog would be great or ok if ONLY dog; no cats. Izzy is now living with foster (loves her) who cannot keep her any longer and cannot adopt. Note: Life with Izzy is no different than with a hearing dog. Just like her "hearing dog" peers, she plays, follows your hand signals, which we use with hearing dogs (hand signals) - so no different! She's SO WELL BEHAVED!  Izzy will bring so much joy to you as she's that awesome and special! Daisy is a beautiful sweet 9 year old female American Bulldog hound mix, around 60 lbs who needs a break.  She has been in a foster home for many years now. She is a calm, loving and an all-around good girl. She's very laid back ....and just likes to chill at home with her people. Daisy's main requirement is she needs to be the only pet in the home.  Daisy is completely housebroken, crate trained and wonderful in the house. She does best having a fenced yard to go outside to do her business. VERY well housetrained.  Other Dogs have started spats with her in her foster home causing her to be insecure around dogs. She's happiest when she feels safe and secure along side a wonderful person, bonds quickly, and that's when she's the only pet. Daisy is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. You will LOVE this girl. She really needs to get her own home after years.   Please email: caninecrusadersatlanta@yahoo.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 9, 2024, 11:15 am

Story
Hi, my foster mom calls me Chevy. I am about 1.5 years old and 50 lbs of puppy love . I am a very good boy and am crate trained . I love treats and am very polite and gentle when taking them from your hand. I am very sweet with people and dogs. Playing ball is one of my favorite things and I love running freely around the yard but I always come back to you when I see you. I will warn you if strangers approach, but I am not mouthy at all. My foster mom tells me that I was saved me from a high kill shelter due to a shortage of space. I don't understand why anyone would want to hurt me....I am such a good boy! I haven't met cats before so I am learning not to chase. So for now, I guess my home should not include cats or todlers because I might knock them down. If you think that you might have room in your heart and home for me, I would love to meet you ! Chevy
