Story
Bubba is à misunderstood lover boy. He’s sweet, loving and loyal and loves to go on adventures. He’s had a rough life with a past that is unknown but clearly troubled. He showed up at my door 3 years ago and I fell madly in love. He loves to play fetch and to do search work. He’s well trained but needs a lot of reinforcement and training sessions as they help him remain calm and mentally stimulated. He loves small dogs and female dogs. He doesn’t do well with other males. He will be better in a home with no other dogs. He’s the best boy ever, the best dog anyone can ask for. He just needs someone that can give him a lot of time to help iron out his one behavior issue. He’s made progress and was able to make many friends so there is hope for him. We just can’t seem to pin point the trigger for aggression. Bubba needs reassurance as he gets very anxious about his position in your world. He just wants love and consistency. Blueberries and Swiss cheese are his favorite snack.

Arlo was saved from being killed at a high-kill shelter in June. An awesome human agreed to foster him and so his life was spared! Arlo is 2 years old, about 65 lbs and great with dogs!! He was patient and played with even the high energy dogs at the shelter! He is reported to be super sweet and so happy to be alive! He loves being outside and loves cuddling. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Obedient, loyal, cuddle bug. Loves camping/hiking. Usually off leash in remote locations. If someone/another animal approaches, say “here” and he comes immediately. He is well trained and eager to please his person. Bogie is being re-homed because the family now has twin toddlers and this is stressing him.  He nipped one of the twins over a piece of cheese on the floor.  He just needs a less stressful environment than living with twin toddlers.  He is a fabulous dog, he just wants his adult humans.  He does not get along with other dogs so he is looking for a home with no pets and no small kids.   Age: 6 years  Weight: 65 lbs Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative Temperament: Good with adults and teens, not good with other dogs or small kids For questions about Bogie, please email  michelletrujillo8389@gmail.com  To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.  May 28, 2023, 7:59 pm
