Meet Izzy – A Sweet & Snuggly Pure American Bulldog! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 ~ 3.5 YRS. OLD METRO ATLANTA AREA Meet Izzy – An adorable Female American Bulldog! Izzy absolutely loves her humans and wants nothing more than to be snuggled up against you!  As a deaf bulldog, she likes to have her people in eyesight and will delightfully follow you around the house and inquisitively investigate whatever you are doing, because she wants to be a part of it! She loves her late afternoon walks, sniffing, and grunting happily at whatever she’s looking at. She’s just as happy to curl up at your feet all day: she does not require a lot of exercise and prefers to not be outside when it’s hot.  She really enjoys playing with sticks outside and likes to chase them but hasn’t quite figured out how to let them go. She’ll definitely need a nap after playing. Izzy LOVES car rides and will happily watch the scenery go by. She occupies herself during the day with her chew toys/bones or just with deeply sleeping at any opportunity. Because she loves lounging/sleeping, she can handle being on her own during a workday. You’ll sometimes have to give her a little nudge to let her know you walked in the house, since she is a “heavy” sleeper and will not hear you upon entrance. It’s really cute.  She is such an easy-going fur baby. She is well house-trained; and if her human is not outside with her on potty breaks, she will run out to do her thing and come right back inside the home. She’ll do a little bark to let you know she’s ready to come back. She loves her food times and very food focused but will sit and wait until she has permission to eat her food. She’s been through some professional training with an emphasis on a few hand signals so that she knows when to sit, give you paw, come to/follow you and when it’s time to lay down in bed. She has never had an accident in the house, nor has she chewed on anything other than her toys! As sweet as she is on humans, other dogs don’t make her feel comfortable so she would be best for a family with no pets.  She’s fine on leash when other dogs are around and won’t pay attention to them. As a deaf dog, she doesn’t bark often at so would be great in condo living. She has the American Bulldog short nose so she can make some pretty funny noises as she meanders around. She’s super comfortable with being touched on her paws (for easy clipping) and even loves being held in someone’s arms &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Anyone who has met her has marveled at how sweet she is!   Izzy is an easygoing, lovable girl who deserves her forever home. You can see her adorable personality in the 4 short videos below (3 of those 4 are her training - below).   Izzy Sits: https://vimeo.com/994287677?login=true#_=_ Izzy snoring:  https://vimeo.com/994289214 Izzy "High Five":   https://vimeo.com/994288812 METRO ATLANTA AREA Will consider foster home until adoptive home found Email passionforanimals5017@gmail.com  to obtain an application or inquire about her  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 4, 2025, 1:23 pm

Story
Coco and her siblings were 8 weeks old when they became court cases with animal control charges of animal cruelty. They have been in foster for the past 22 months and were just released to be available for adoption. Coco's journey to find her forever home has been one of resilience and love. This beautiful girl had a tragic start, as she and her siblings became court cases with charges of severe abuse and neglect when they were just a few weeks old. In April 2023, Coco and two of her siblings came into a wonderful woman's care as foster babies. Since then, Coco has blossomed in a happy and safe environment, surrounded by her brother and sister. Coco has shown incredible strength and love despite her dicult beginnings. She deserves a forever home where she can continue to thrive and bring joy to her new family. About Coco: - Coco is almost 2 years old, weighs approximately 66 pounds. She is spayed, up to date and has all her vaccination  and is heartworm negative. - Crate Trained & Housebroken: No accidents - Obedient: Coco knows basic commands like sit, wait, treat, and get in, working on stay. - Great Sleeper: Coco sleeps 8 hours a night in her crate, giving you peace and quiet. - Friendly: Coco plays well with her siblings and my daughter's dogs. - Energy Levels: Coco has medium to high energy; she loves walks around the neighborhood. - Loving & Affectionate: Coco is a real Velcro buddy who loves to cuddle and be close to her humans. - Social: Coco loves people she knows but needs a few minutes to warm up to new people. - Food & Treat Motivated: Coco is easily motivated by food and treats. - Prey: Coco likes to chase squirrels, so a watchful eye is needed. - Not Tested with Cats: Coco hasn't been tested with cats yet. - Fenced Backyard Preferred: Coco would love a secure backyard to play in. - Solo or Pack: Coco may thrive as an only dog or with a compatible canine companion.   For questions, please email .   amy@doggieharmony.org To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.needs to be only dogLike most of us, Jackson is trying to navigate some crazy recent developments. This American Bulldog/Boxer mix spent seven great years with his pet parents before his world was turned upside down by a toddler (Relatable, right?).   While he has struggled to adapt to the antics of an unpredictable little human, Jackson remains a sweet, well-behaved Good Dog. He loves his crate and follows numerous commands. And get this: He dislikes walks almost as much as you dread carrying poop bags. Score! Jackson’s go-to activities are lying next to you on the couch or zooming around the backyard before soaking up some rays with a pro-level nap. His ideal forever home would feature adults, teenagers and a fenced yard. Could he share this place with another dog or a cat? Sure, but let’s take that nice and slooooow.  Age: 7 years Weight:  50 labs Temperament: Gets along with adults/teens and other dogs with slow intro Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, knows commands and tricks Vetting: neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application ( www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption ) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.July 14, 2025, 6:32 pm

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet. Yuki was assessed by a certified dog trainer on 10/31/2025. Yuki is a happy, affectionate girl who exhibits no fear of humans she loves people. She walks up to strangers seeking a pet or treats. Because she is deaf, she can get spooked if someone comes up behinds her and touches her without making your presence known to her prior. Because of this, she needs a home with only older children (12+) who understand doggy manners and can be taught to respect to allow Yuki to come to them first and not spook her. She needs a home that understands boundaries and respect as well as to gracefully announce your presence to her instead of sneaking up on her which can be stressful for her. She would do best having a yard to get her zoomies and plays out. Probably no apartment or with immediate neighbors as Yuki can be very vocal, which she seems to have learned through experience that barking is the way to get attention but this is a behavior common to any dog that has been encouraged to use their bark to get attention, it is not specific to Yuki’s breed or deafness. A far as dogs, when Yuki was in the shelter she was assessed as dog friendly. She has been assessed walking through Petsmart with a trainer and she came very close to other dogs, every time she got super excited and although she barked, she had a waggy tail and body posture suggesting she was desperate to get their attention and play. However, she is probably best as only pet or only with a calm dog that won’t come up behind and spook her. If she has slow introductions she may do ok with another calm, gentle dog, and if with another dog, then a structured home. She would need to take time in the home to decompress and slowly introduced to them over a few weeks. Even behind baby gates at first and first getting used to scents of the other dog. Yuki is very trainable and very smart. She does use hand signals. Some hand signals she knows are “come”, “sit”, and “thumbs up” for good job. Too vocal for apartment living.  Prefer a home.   Video playing in the river:   https://youtube.com/shorts/I1ee8F2qiDg&#226&#128&#139 Video playing with other dogs.   https://youtube.com/shorts/ZSENZnir2T4 Age: 2 years 2 months Weight:  34 lbs Temperament: Gets along with older respectful kids Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, knows several hand signs Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions:    http://kcchall238@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. At first, she might give you the “I’m a little unsure” tucked tail… but give her a moment and boom — wiggly butt, soft eyes, and a whole lot of sweetness. On leash, she’s wonderfully polite and loves exploring at her own gentle pace. She handles new things — rain, loud noises, your neighbor’s wild stories — with quiet determination and a desire to stick close to her trusted human. With other dogs, she’s the polite lady of the group: calm, respectful, never pushy. With kids, she’s shown a positive, gentle history. Justice is ready for someone who loves a soft-hearted pup — someone who doesn’t mind earning the affection, because once you’ve got it, it’s gold. Give her a predictable routine, a cozy spot, and a dash of patience, and she’ll blossom into the sweet, loyal shadow you never knew you needed. Questions? Story
🐾 Meet Harley! Harley is a 5-year-old Boxer/Pit mix with a heart as big as her smile! This sweet girl is the perfect blend of affectionate snuggle bug and playful companion. She loves being close to her humans, curling up on a cozy blanket or dog bed after a good walk or play session. Harley is naturally submissive and eager to please, and she’s already housetrained, crate-trained, and knows her basic commands (she’s even a proud PetSmart puppy training graduate!). Harley gets along wonderfully with cats and other dogs and has never met a person she doesn’t greet with enthusiasm — though she’s still working on not jumping up when she gets excited. She’s full of love, kisses, and joy, and she’ll thrive in an active home that includes her in the fun. Harley also does well with children, making her a great fit for a variety of loving households. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your days with laughter, cuddles, and plenty of tail wags, Harley is your girl! 💕 To adopt, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.threepawsrescue.org/adoption-application/ For information about adoption fee, please visit https://www.threepawsrescue.org/adoption-fees/ To learn about the adoption process, please visit https://www.threepawsrescue.org/adoption-process/ ** Please note that the breeds listed are our best guesses based on physical appearance and behavioral traits.
