City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Story
I'm at our Oglethorpe Street shelter! If you want to adopt me, come to 71 Oglethorpe St. NW between 12-7 pm Tuesday-Sunday or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more.Well, the panda's may have left town, but we think Lenny is a pretty good substitute with his silly facial markings! And he is even more fun than those big bears. He is full of beans, and he has a real zest for life. Lenny is pretty comical too. He was lost and just jumped into someone's car- almost asking for help. Lenny is now ready for a super active family that can keep up with his frisky, busy agenda. He is ready for lots of activities, and he will need folks that want to get up and go with this funster. Lovable Lenny is ready for a great life so please meet him soon!Check out Lenny's video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3_SLpFx4yQHead to this link to see how we've been responding to Canine Influenza in shelter and working to keep it from spreading in the community!https://www.humanerescuealliance.org/blog/posts/what-you-need-to-know-about-canine-influenza

I'm at our Oglethorpe Street shelter! If you want to adopt me, come to 71 Oglethorpe St. NW between 12-7 pm Tuesday-Sunday or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more.Prince is tired of being treated like the court jester! He's a regal boy who has been de-throned and he's sad. He is such a great fellow. He can give the most pleading puppy dog eyes that no one can resist. Prince had a home, but the owners did not have the means to care for him anymore. He's doing his best to cope with this big change, but we told him that change can be good so now he's looking for a new castle to call his own. He is very sweet, mellow, and gentle. It was reported that he's done well with other dogs too. Now Prince would love a devoted family that will let him be a true member of the family. He would love to have soft beds, good meals, a steady schedule which includes lots of fun walks. Prince is a big boy- 76 pounds! - so make room on your couch and in your heart for a sweet, royal and loyal pup.Check out Prince's video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VohB8oM2pxMHead to this link to see how we've been responding to Canine Influenza in shelter and working to keep it from spreading in the community!https://www.humanerescuealliance.org/blog/posts/what-you-need-to-know-about-canine-influenza

This young guy didn't have the best start in life, but he never lets that get him down. In fact, he's super friendly and loves everyone he meets! He's a very smart boy too - Not only will he show you the best "sit" ever, but he also even knows "paw!" This poor guy came to the shelter way too skinny, but all the staff have been giving him lots of yummy treats, and he's been getting stronger every day. Please come say hi to this wonderful, wiggly boy!Check out Van Gogh's video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ha8Vp7hDCggHead to this link to see how we've been responding to Canine Influenza in shelter and working to keep it from spreading in the community!https://www.humanerescuealliance.org/blog/posts/what-you-need-to-know-about-canine-influenza

He is a super wiggly, friendly fellow with such a joyful attitude. And he is soooo sweet! He greets everyone as if they are a long-lost friend. Professor Snape had a home, but the owner realized this very good boy needed more exercise and playtime. So now Professor Snape is seeking a fun, frisky family that can take him for long, energy burning walks. He would also LOVE lots of playtime with his family. Going to positive training classes are something he would love to do as well. So, who is ready to get their learning on and have fun with a great doggie?
