I got Remmy from a private owner last year from a new couple who was starting there life together. He came from a big home with a lot of dogs in it but his original owner said he was picky with his friends. Now that I’ve spent a year with him. I am absolutely in love with this velvet hippo/marshmallow but I am afraid his territorial nature may not be good for a baby who’s moving around and learning how to walk. I’ve been teaching my child about personal space and how to be gentle but with the lifestyle we have now I don’t believe we can accommodate him. Remmy is very gentle and very strong but needs to be in a home with someone who doesn’t work many hours and has time to take him on lots of walks and throw a ball around in a great big fenced in yard or place he can roam free. He loves people more than other animals. He is the king of his castle and I’m looking to find someone who will love him and know how to spoil him the way I do, because he will cuddle, love and give back tenfold.

He is from a well known breeder and he was up todate on shots but unfortunately i cant afford to take him

Hi, The dog is a Pitbull Terrier and he is being rehomed due to my mother being very allergic to him. We are very saddened to have to give him away since he is the nicest and sweetest dog we have ever had. That is why we are looking for family to adopt him (preferably with kids since he LOVES to play and is very active). We do not want any money for him just to find him the best home possible. We will not give him to anyone looking to turn him into a guard dog or with intent of making him aggressive in any way shape or form. In personality he is very timid and easily scared by new things and experiences. He requires a lot of love and patience since it takes him a second to get used to something new. He is house trained and will not go to the bathroom until taken outside. He recently turned 2 years and is in perfect health. We got him from a family friend whos' dog had a litter unexpectedly.

Story
Meet Miss Lola! Lola is a super sweet girl who adores human affection- both adult and children! Lola loves being near her foster mom and dad and enjoys being pet. Lola has a four year old (human) foster sister who loves her, and the love is mutual. She doesn't mind kids getting rowdy and she's so sweet and polite. Lola is very well house-trained and while she does not need to be crated, she does sleep in her crate at night. While Lola is a pretty good leash walker, she does have a tendency to pull a little bit on her leash. We believe with a harness this can be easily corrected. Miss Lola is diabetic. She is currently wearing a continuous glucose monitor that her foster scans every 8 hours for the vet to determine her optimal insulin dose. The glucose monitor is temporary but she will continue to take insulin twice a day. Lola has made administration of insulin an easy part of her day for her foster. While Lola came to our care underweight, we are working on helping her get to a healthier weight. When Lola was introduced to other dogs in her foster home she was generally indifferent to them. Lola is good at being crated with other dogs around, and will respect baby gates. She has shown no barrier aggression, and is not aggressive to the sight of other dogs. Still we recommend she is a solo dog in her home due to resource guarding with food that can become aggressive. She should not be in a home with cats. Lola is a loving dog and we know she deserves a happy life, will it be with you? Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
