Story
Kilo is our oldest dog Coco’s son. He’s a very special and sweet boy but unfortunately with work and a new baby we haven’t found the time to take care of him the way he deserves. Kilo is 3 years old, he was born on June 10th, 2021, he was 1 of 12 that was born that day. Since then he has been so loving, funny, and entertaining. Kilo responds very well to his name as well as sit, stay, stop, let’s go and go peepee/go bathroom. He does have a tendency of peeing in the house to “make his territory” but I think with proper training, that habit can be easily broken.

MEET HERSHEY!Hershey is a chocolate pup who is as sweet as her name suggests. She was reluctantly surrendered when her family`s living situation changed. Hershey is a strong exuberant girl who can pull hard on the leash, but with consistent training and use of a proper harness, she can learn to walk nicely. She is very treat motivated, which should help with her lessons. If you are interested in adding this sweet girl to your family, stop by our Dedham shelter!Hershey is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Name: Jolene Sex: Female Breed: Boxer/Pit Mix. Age: 3 yrs Weight: 68 Needs PET FREE home We believe Jolene is a Boxer and Pit Bull mix. She has a litter of puppies who have all been adopted and now it’s her turn to find her own pet free home as she isn’t a fan of other pets. Jolene is a super sweet snuggler who loves to be near you at all times. In fact, she will literally sleep right on top of you! She's fully potty-trained and will let you know when she needs to go out – her way of saying “I got to go, I got to go” is by stomping her paws. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at survivortails.org or email adoptions@survivortails.org with any questions.

Story
Chencho5 years oldAmerican Bully Have you ever dreamt of having your very own house hippo? Well dream no further! Chencho is the chunkiest house hippo on the block and is ready to dazzle you with his ample good looks and charm. This large couch potato would make a great companion in a variety of households as long as there are plenty of scritches available for him! He is not a fan of sharing his favorite things, so he would do best in a home without young children. He might be able to live with another dog with plenty of management. Chencho seems to have some allergies so it will be important to have a close relationship with a veterinarian to keep him feeling his best. Regardless, he promises to wiggle his way into your heart in no time! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
