Story
Zella joined our family as a puppy from a show-dog boxer breeder and was professionally trained in our home. She has become a calm, well-behaved companion who is often complimented on how quiet and polite she is. She rarely barks, enjoys being around people, and gets along very well with other dogs. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family. We are only looking for a new home because my husband and I have developed mobility disabilities and can no longer give Zella the active lifestyle she deserves. Our decision has nothing to do with her behavior...we simply want what's best for her. Zella has storm anxiety and takes veterinarian-prescribed medication during thunderstorms and fireworks. Outside of storms, she's calm, happy, and easy to care for.Zella is affectionate, loyal, intelligent, gentle, and social. We are looking for a loving home where she'll truly be part of the family and receive the love and attention she deserves. She'll reward you with endless love.

Story
Hi there, I’m Sadie! I’m a 40lb bundle of Six-month-old puppy energy, and I’m dreaming of growing into a 70-pound lap dog just for you! I’m a total social butterfly who loves making friends with everyone—including other dogs and even cats—but I’d really love a home with kids or a playful pup sibling to keep up with my energy. I am a gold-star student because I’m already potty trained and sleep through the night in my kennel like a pro (especially since I get my favorite treats there!). I love playing fetch and taking walks, and I have a big heart and a lot of wiggles ready for my forever family—could that be you?

Story
Hi hoomans, it’s me, Sommer, your resident 6‑pound cuddle bug and part‑time chaos intern. Big news: I went outside for the very first time this week. Wow. So many smells. So many things to explore. So much room to run and play with the resident dogs. I am thoroughly intrigued by this thing called a hose and the wet stuff that comes out of it. Reminds me of my first week here with all of my spa days. Uncle Max has been teaching me how to watch squirrels like a serious dog. I stand next to him and stare at the fence, but honestly…I have no idea what we’re waiting for. He seems very passionate about it, though, so I pretend I understand. I’m feeling better, getting braver, but still like being held so I can shove my whole face into your neck like a baby koala. Foster life is pretty great. Love, Sommer 🐶✨ Sommer’s first few days here were a little “ruff” — poor girl had some tummy troubles and mostly wanted to snooze. But now that she’s feeling better, her puppy personality is bursting through. She’s playing with toys (Lamb Chop is the reigning favorite), wrestling with her brother Kayce, and treating foster mom’s walking boot like her own personal jungle gym. She loves being held, burying her face in your neck, and has become surprisingly accustomed to her frequent “spa days” thanks to those tummy issues. 😆 She loves when the big resident dogs come over to say hello, she gets up and runs over to give kisses 🥰 This little girl is a beauty and her name is Sommer. This is her story. A mama dog was pulled off the streets and safely delivered 9 puppies in foster care. They’ve been loved and cared for since birth… but then the original foster’s landlord found out, and the puppies had to be moved immediately. Dallas Dog - Rescue.Rehab.Reform brought them into the fold and they have been separated into smaller groups for fostering. They are: 🐾 Medium‑breed pups 🐾 Social, playful, and used to being together 🐾 At a critical age where consistency matters We are beginning to accept adoption applications so we can place them in stable homes as soon as they’re ready. Pairs are ideal, but single‑pup adopters committed to proper socialization are welcome too. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, now is the moment to step in for one of these babies. www.dallasdog.org

He’s been working on all the commands and is sure to charm you with his talents. A sweet little male with a story to tell. He is such a good boy. Certified cuddle expert. Professional tail wagger. He believes every human is his best friend and every snack should legally be shared with him. A mama dog was pulled off the streets and safely delivered 9 puppies in foster care. Story
Laramie is a beautiful little girl. She’s very sweet and friendly. She wants to say hi to everyone and give them kisses. She gets along great with other dogs and has spent time with children and was good with them too. She has a foster cat sister and would really like to play with her too but the kitty isnt a fan of puppyness. She’s got puppy energy and loves to play and chew. She follows her foster dog sister around and they play, although she’s going to need a bigger playmate. She loves to run and would do great with a yard! Here is her story. A mama dog was pulled off the streets and safely delivered 9 puppies in foster care. They’ve been loved and cared for since birth… but then the original foster’s landlord found out, and the puppies had to be moved immediately. Story
Hi, I’m Kayce, the 25.5 lb lap dog you’ve been searching for! My foster parents say I’m only 14 weeks old, but look at these legs! I am built for long walks, backyard zoomies, and absolute elite-level couch snuggling. 🌟 Boxer mix on paper, brindle Black Mouth Cur in looks, and 100% good boy in personality. 🐕 Great with dogs: Play with a GSD, Pocket Bully, and Terrier. 🐈 Cat friendly: Safely living with 2 foster cats. 🎓 Smart boy: Already knows 'sit' and 'down'. 💤 Crate trained: Doing amazing and age-appropriate. 🚽 Potty training: Working hard on potty training and going outside. I’m a smart, handsome pup with a huge heart, and I'm ready to find my forever family. ❤️ Hi everyone, it’s me, Kayce — your friendly neighborhood chaos nugget, wrestling champion, and professional zoom‑ologist. This week has been AWESOME: I got to run around outside and I have decided that the backyard is my personal amusement park. There are smells to sniff, sticks to chomp, and dogs to wrestle (lovingly of course). I take my job as Fun Supervisor very seriously. I also met a hose. I do NOT vibe with the hose. It wiggles. It sprays. It’s unpredictable. I barked at it once to let it know I’m watching, then retreated to a safe distance because I value my life. I’m getting braver, smarter, and sillier every day. I love exploring, wrestling, and doing independent puppy missions… but I also love cuddles. Especially the kind where I smush my face into foster mom's until she kisses my head. So anyway… I think I’m pretty awesome. And I think you might think I’m awesome too. Please adopt me so I can bring my zoomies, snuggles, and questionable decision‑making skills to your home. Love, Kayce 🐶 A mama dog was pulled off the streets and safely delivered 9 puppies in foster care. Story
Castiel is a 2-year-old hound mix with a gentle soul and a soft, sweet personality. This handsome boy knows sit and takes life at a calmer, easygoing pace. He is interested in toys and treats, but he is not overly motivated by them — he is more of a “soft pets and good company” kind of guy. Castiel will come up to enjoy gentle affection and is very polite when soaking up attention. He came from a home with other dogs, but he can have a dominant male personality and may bark at dogs through the fence, so slow and thoughtful introductions are recommended. Castiel also takes his breakfast very seriously and enjoys starting his day with a good meal. With patience, structure, and a loving home, Castiel is ready to be someone’s loyal, gentle companion.HEARTWORM POSITIVE: IS TREATED AND COVERED IN FULL BY THE COLONY ANIMAL SERVICES.

Story
Meet Jade — Your New Best FriendJade is a loving 3-year-old pit bull terrier mix who may have some Greyhound due to slender build and speed. A gentle soul, a sweet disposition, and a heart full of devotion. She is wonderful with children, loves people, and enjoys being part of family life.Though a little shy at first, she quickly becomes a loyal companion who loves cuddles, walks, car rides, and simply being by your side.Jade is kennel trained, potty trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and travels beautifully. She is calm, well-mannered, and eager to please. Jade is deeply loved, but unfortunately our older female dog hasn’t accepted her. Because of that we believe Jade would thrive as the only dog in the home, where she can relax, feel safe and secure, and receive all the love and attention she deserves. ❤️If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet, loyal companion. Please contact us today. You will fall in love at first sight. 😍 💖

Story
If you asked anyone who met Cash what they noticed first, they'd probably say his smile. Not because it was perfect, but because it was impossible to ignore.Cash had the kind of grin that could light up a room. His eyes would get wide, his mouth would stretch from ear to ear, and suddenly everyone around him forgot whatever bad day they were having. He didn't care if you were tired, stressed, or just got home from work. In Cash's mind, every time he saw you was the best moment of his life. And he made sure you knew it.
