Story
Chaz is an 8-year-old, 68-pound grey Pittie mix who has lived through more than his share of hardship. Someone in his past cut off his ears to make him look intimidating, but in reality, Chaz is nothing but a soft, loving dog with a gentle heart. He’s a senior, but you’d never know it watching him chase after a tennis ball. He still has plenty of energy and a playful streak that shines through the moment you step outside with him. Chaz knows his basic commands, walks well on leash, and thrives on human connection. He’s eager to please and even more eager to be loved. Mostly, Chaz just wants to feel safe, understood, and valued for who he is.Senior dogs like Chaz often wait the longest for homes. But the love they give is deep, steady, and full of gratitude. Chaz is ready to share that love with someone who sees past the scars and recognizes the loyal companion he’s always been.He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and waiting for a family to finally choose him.Chaz spent time in a foster home and was the most well behaved boy! Here is a note from his foster:Chaz is incredibly cuddly and sweet. He always wants to be in my company, even if we are just laying on the couch. He wasn`t allowed on the couch at first, but he is so smart and figured out how to get comfortable up there despite the obstacle I set up. He loves chasing a tennis ball, but doesn`t care too much about other toys. He is very treat/food motivated! He does a little `happy` march when he`s waiting for me to put his food bowl down. Despite his age, he loves going on a long walk and is well mannered on a leash. He is excited to see people and dogs, though I haven`t tried introducing him to other dogs, but I think he would love to play with them based on his tail wagging and gentle nature. He is perfect for someone seeking a cuddly companion!Chaz`s adoption fee has been paid for with a donation from Anna Kay

Story
DaisyBoo is a 3 year old little love bug that only weighs 45 lbs. She as found as a stray. In a heartbreaking turn of events, we were able to locate her original owner, but they could no longer afford to keep her. She is longing for a family again as she wants nothing more than to just hang out with you! She’s a low-maintenance dog that would be perfect for apartment or home living and would be a great choice for a family with children. Daisy is smart, fun and loves her stuffies! She’s currently enrolled in training sessions to master leash walking in urban environments around other dogs. Her former owner said she played well with other dogs. Story
Dalilah is a 6 year old American Bully that is joyful and an affectionate bundle of love! When she gets excited that she might get some attention, she may show you the most adorable little hoppity-hops ever. She carries her toys around and likes a quiet spot in the yard to lay and enjoy the fresh air. She’s content to stay on the couch or bed with you, or plays a bit of fetch and tug, and loves to give hugs and kisses. She is a low energy dog but gets excited for play, affection, and cookies! Dalilah walks great on a leash and loves to go on short adventures. Gets along well with other dogs and currently friends with a chihuahua. She has *Slight* special needs but is very easy to care for. She can walk fine, but a little unstable on her feet. She can hear, but slight hard of hearing and need to speak up to get her attention. She can see fine, but has a bit of a wonky eye. Dalilah has her OWN hashtag! Search #DalilahTails on Facebook, and her stories will pop up! She is crate trained, house broken, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Dalilah would love to meet you! To meet her in person, please fill out an adoption application. Story
Meet Shadow — the sweetest little heart looking for her second chance. Shadow is a beautiful 1-year-old Black American Staffordshire/Pit Bull mix who was sadly surrendered by her owner, but she hasn’t let that dim her gentle spirit. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or curling up beside you, she brings a warm, affectionate energy that melts your heart instantly. She’s also crate-trained and house-trained, making her an easy addition to any loving home. Shadow is ready to be someone’s best friend — loyal, loving, and devoted. All she needs now is the family who sees her, chooses her, and never lets her go again. Story
Goliath is a cuddle bug. He has a moderate energy level and tends to have short bursts of energy where 5-15 minutes of play or a walk will help him settle for the next few hours. Goliath would thrive as either a solo dog or a friend to a larger or high-energy dog. He currently lives with a senior female who lets him know when he is overwhelming her, and he listens very well. He's house-trained and knows most common commands. He also will go in his crate voluntarily when we need to leave him alone. He really is a great dog, and we love him so much. We just aren't in the position to care for another dog. However, when his previous owner came to us saying she'd have to surrender him, we didn't want this sweet boy to end up in a shelter. We also have a DNA and health test that we can provide for anyone interested.
