Say hello to Chloe!Chloe came to us after being removed from a bad situation. Since then, she' been spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and is living large indoors and luvin it!! She adores all things soft - soft blankets, soft beds, soft laps. Since joining our foster's home back in May, Chloe has learned so many new things. She has learned that riding in a car isn't so bad if there's something good at the destination! She is completely crate-trained and house trained, and has learned to walk on a leash and go for adventures. She even went on a camping trip and was such a great camp dog, hanging out with her peeps in camp. Chloe loves to sunbathe and get belly rubs. She loves to cuddle on the couch and sleep in bed with her favorite humans. She enjoys meeting new people.During our last adoption event, she surprised everyone by showing what a social butterfly she is! She just wanted to meet all the people! Chloe is affectionate and gentle. She is patient and kind. She is curious and goofy. We feel that she would do well with well-mannered children, and she might even be okay with a canine companion. We have opened her world to so many new things, and she has taken everything in stride, confidently clearing all hurdles! She is ready to spread her wings in her new life with her forever family!Interested in meeting Chloe? Story
We never imagined we’d be writing this, but we’re looking for the perfect forever home for our sweet Milo. Milo is a 3-year-old pit bull, about 50 pounds, and truly one of the sweetest, goofiest dogs you’ll ever meet. He’s a total lovable derp who loves being with his people, napping in cozy spots, and exploring the outdoors. He’s house-trained, does great with other dogs, and has so much love to give. As our family grows and we prepare for life with two young children, we’ve had to make the incredibly difficult decision to find Milo a home where he’ll get the time, attention, and adventures he deserves. This choice comes from a place of love, and our biggest priority is finding the right family for him. Milo does have itchy skin that requires some routine care, but otherwise he’s healthy, happy, and ready to be someone’s best friend. If you think Milo might be a good fit for your family, or know someone who is looking for an amazing companion, please reach out.

We think with boundaries and more training she could live with a dog savvy cat. She loves all peoples. She is house and crate trained.  Norah is your typical active girk, she can also chill out and chew on a nyla bone for hours. Norah would be a fantastic addition to any family. Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME?Hello! My name is Molly!ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL?I am a beautiful girl.HOW OLD ARE YOU?We are estimating that I was born sometime in 2022.WHAT BREED ARE YOU?I am a Staffy Mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?I weigh 60 pounds.WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?So gorgeous! I have a beautiful rust-colored coat with lots of fun white markings. I have a perfect white stripe between my eyes and four cute white socks, and you will be mesmerized by my dark brown smoky eye markings… Tell me, have you ever seen so much cuteness in one dog??WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?Ummm…. Everything? Is that even a real question? If you offer, I accept! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE?I am sweet as the day is long. I still have some puppy energy when it comes to playtime, but for the most part I am really chill and I love to cuddle for hours!DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY:Oh, that’s easy… give me a ball and I will play until I drop. And then lots of cuddles on the couch. As long as there is some food sprinkled in along with the cuddling and playing, I am the happiest girl in the world. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love all toys! If there is a ball around, I will play with it, or just carry it around, until someone trades some food for it. I love to play with a Kong, too. Stuff that with peanut butter, yogurt, my food … yes, please!DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS?I am a work in progress. So far, I have mastered “sit.” But I am very food motivated, so if you are up for it, we can work on some tricks together (if you give me the food in exchange for my efforts, of course)!WHAT SCARES YOU?So far, I am pretty fearless. The fireworks on the Fourth of July did not even bother me! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN?I have not been around children yet.DO YOU LIKE CATS?I have not been around cats since coming into the rescue. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS?I have a foster brother that I absolutely love. We have so much fun together. Safe and slow introductions, of course, but I am a dog-friendly gal!IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE?With a family that loves me! HOW IS YOUR HEALTH?I am doing great! No issues to report!WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION?I live with my foster mom, her roommate, and Elvis the resident dog. I definitely love my foster mom the most. She took me in when I needed a safe space, feeds me, plays with me, and is teaching me what it feels like to be loved. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?I do really well in my crate.WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?I sleep with foster mom and foster dog brother, Elvis.DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?I do! I need to work on my leash manners, though. The world out there is all so exciting and interesting, I just need to see and smell it all!DO YOU HAVE ANY NOT SO GREAT HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?Really, the only less-than-perfect thing about me is that I pull on leash too much. We can work on that together, right?ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)?I am! I have not had any accidents at all since coming into my foster home! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I have not had an opportunity to partake in any water adventures yet. I am pretty active and adventurous, though, so I am thinking we might have some fun at the beach or a lake or a pool… we can try, right?WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?My foster mom is taking such good care of me. I am so grateful that she took me in when I needed her. And I love playing and cuddling with my foster brother.IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER?I am SO excited to get started on this next—best—phase of my life! We will have so much fun together. I would love to go on adventures and maybe play with a dog friend, and I hope you have room on your couch for me when I get snuggly! Will you take me home with you?**THE ADOPTION FEE FOR MOLLY IS $300**If you are interested in MOLLY, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.orgAt this time we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas (which means Sacramento County, parts of El Dorado County and parts of Placer County). For more information on what that means and why that is, please click on the following link:https://www.facebook.com/333019703483910/posts/3264412130344638/?extid=0&d=nThank you so much in advance for understanding!

Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi there, friend! I’m Willow. ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I am a very sweet girl. HOW OLD ARE YOU? I am around nine years old as of mid-2026 (old enough to know what's important in life: naps, snacks, and cozy couches). WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a brindle couch potato with a PhD in relaxation. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? Im weighing in at a healthy 40 pounds! I may not look like a superhero, but considering I weighed only 13 pounds when I was rescued, I've made an incredible comeback! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I am the perfect-sized couch companion with beautiful brindle fur and soulful eyes that can convince almost anyone to share a snack. I'm compact, cuddly, and built for snuggling. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I eat prescription kibble, and I take my meal schedule very seriously. Breakfast and dinner are the highlights of my day, and I appreciate anyone who serves them on time. WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am the easiest dog you will ever meet. I'm perfectly content napping most of the day, enjoying a short stroll around the neighborhood, and soaking up affection from my humans. I'm low-maintenance, mellow, and incredibly grateful for the simple things in life. As long as my food bowl gets filled twice a day, we're going to get along just fine. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day starts with waking up and enjoying a delicious breakfast. After that, I'd love to sit beside you on the couch while you drink your morning coffee and give me some gentle pets. Once that's done, it's back to bed for a nice nap. Later, a leisurely walk around the block sounds lovely, followed by—you guessed it—another nap. Dinner should arrive promptly, of course, and afterward I'd be happy to spend the evening lounging beside you on the couch. When I'm tired, I'll politely excuse myself and put myself to bed like the independent lady I am. But don’t forget to tuck me in before you go to bed. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I don't really play with toys very often. Every now and then, I might give it a few minutes of attention. But honestly, I'd rather spend my energy perfecting my napping technique. DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? If being the best dog ever is a trick, then I'm an expert. I also know how to win hearts without even trying. WHAT SCARES YOU? I don't really care for feet. (And honestly, who does?) If they get too close to me, I'll simply move somewhere else. Problem solved. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? DO YOU LIKE THEM? I have been around older children. I'm a very mellow girl, so I prefer calm and gentle older kids over lots of running, noise, and chaos. The young humans I've met so far have been sweet and respectful, and I've enjoyed their company. DO YOU LIKE CATS? My foster family doesn't currently have a cat, but I was rescued alongside a cat, so I have some experience sharing my space with feline friends. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I can be a little selective about my dog friends. My foster family had a small dog that I grew to love very much before she passed away. I've also lived with a few foster dogs, and we all got along just fine by respecting each other's space. I'm not looking for a wrestling partner—I prefer peaceful coexistence. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Curled up on a comfy couch, taking a nap somewhere within petting distance of a human. HOW’S YOUR HEALTH? When I first arrived at the rescue, I had several health challenges. Thanks to a tremendous amount of love, medical care, and dedication from the rescue team, I have made an amazing recovery. I still take a few prescriptions and eat a special diet, but I'm feeling great and enjoying life. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with two adults, and I love them both equally...at least that's what I tell them. In reality, whoever is preparing my dinner is usually my favorite person in that moment. My foster dad does tend to sneak me extra treats occasionally, so he may have a slight advantage. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I relax in my crate. It's my cozy little retreat where I can nap peacefully until my humans return. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep on a nice fluffy bed next to my humans' bed. They keep me in a little fenced area, which makes me feel safe and comfortable. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? Absolutely. I walk beautifully on a leash. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Honestly? Not really. I don't bark much, I don't dig, and I'm generally a very easy roommate. My biggest flaw might be convincing people that I deserve extra treats. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? Yes, I am completely house trained. DO YOU LIKE WATER? No thank you. I firmly believe water belongs in a bowl for drinking. Baths are tolerated because apparently humans insist on them. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? They're wonderful. They provide delicious food, comfy places to nap, and endless love. In exchange, I generously allow them to share my couch. I especially love all the affection they give me and how safe they've made me feel. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER? I am so grateful to the amazing people at NorCal Bully Breed Rescue who refused to give up on me when things were rough in my life, but I am now ready to find a family of my very own. I'm looking forward to the final chapter of my journey: finding a forever family to love. Maybe that is you? **WILLOW’S ADOPTION FEE IS $100. If you are interested in adopting Willow, please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org At this time, we are asking for adopters to be in the Sacramento and IMMEDIATE surrounding areas (which means Sacramento County, parts of El Dorado County and parts of Placer County). You don’t want to miss out on this darling girl!**WHAT IS YOUR NAME?  Hi hi hi!! I am Terra! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? Umm, I’m a girl, obviously! The cutest little girl you ever did see!HOW OLD ARE YOU? I was born on April 30, 2026! WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I’m an American Staffordshire Terrier mix.  WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? Perfection! I am a blue-tri with the most darling little face, big floppy ears, a happy smile, and beautiful eyes.  WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I super duper love my puppy kibble that has all the nutrients to keep me growing up healthy and strong!WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? The best ever! I am loads of fun! I am curious and brave, and I love to tell the boys (my brothers) all the things so they know I am the boss! DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY!Lots of playtime, for sure. We wake up and run outside for potty time and the fun starts immediately. Then it is breakfast time and more exploring and playing before the first nap of the day. It is pretty much that (eat, play, sleep) on repeat all day long. Pretty fun life, if you ask me!WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love ALL the toys! But chasing the flirt pole around in the backyard is probably my most favorite thing in the world right now. DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I am learning to sit right now. I’m a smarty, so I will pick up training quickly. Stay tuned! WHAT SCARES YOU? Nothing so far! Didn’t pay any attention to the fireworks on July 4th. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I live with my foster parents, two resident dogs, and my brother, Forest. My closest companion would have to be Forest. We are together 24 hours per day and play nonstop when we are not sleeping. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? We sleep in our deluxe pen. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? We have super cozy beds in our pen. We sleep in style! DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? So far, not really. Being a puppy just generally means there are things that I need to be taught to do and not to do, so I am a clean slate ready to develop all the great habits! ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I am doing so well! I am a quick learner, so if you show me where you want me to go and set me up for success with a consistent schedule, I am all over it! I taught myself to use a doggy door at a pretty young age, so I am a self-starter.  DO YOU LIKE WATER? I have played in the hose a bit, and I do very well with baths. I haven’t tried swimming yet. I am way too little for that still! WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I am safe and comfortable and loved. I have lots of friends to play with, a bunch of fun toys, food to fill my belly, and lots of comfy places to sleep.  IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER? Story
Ashton is a smart and loyal female dog. She is friendly and affectionate, loves to play, and enjoys the company of humans. She would make a great companion to someone who doesn't desire their dog to be a part of every aspect of their social life. Ashton is a homebody. Ashton is independent and knows how to entertain herself. She also enjoys being a couch potato, and cuddling up with her favorite humans is one of her happiest activities! Small children make her very nervous, so she needs to be in a kid free environment. Ashton also is not comfortable with other dogs, so a family looking for a single pet is her best match. Consequently finding a home for her has been a challenge. But we know her people are out there! Ashton is an adult dog. She has plenty of energy and lots of love to give a family. We hope that Ashton will find her forever home with a family who can give her the love and care she deserves. 833-473-7364 leave a vm or text us. Email us at resilientdogrescue@gmail.com. If ever a dog needed rescue, it is Ashton. Someone just needs to give her a chance.
