Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Norah is approximately 7 months old. She came from the Stockton shelter where one of our RPNC volunteers first heard about her and started fostering her. Norah was a medical foster due to her having a prolapsed rectum. She's had two surgeries to repair her colon and after a long recovery period Norah is ready to find her forever home. Norah will need to stay on special food through her life and it will be important for her new family to understand her medical condition. There is a possibility that she will need to have another surgery by a specialist. However, her foster has been able to control her condition with diet and we are hopeful her new family will be able to do the same. Norah is a typical 6 month old puppy. She loves to play, play, play. She currently lives with 2 other dogs; a younger dog and an older dog. She does great with both. Plays with the younger dog and respects the older dog. She also lives with a cat, that she likes to chase. We think with boundaries and more training she could live with a dog savvy cat. She loves all peoples. She is house and crate trained but is still learning the command "go to bed" to go into her crate on command and she is still learning the basics such as sit. Altough Norah is your typical active puppy, she can also chill out and chew on a nyla bone for hours. Norah would be a fantastic addition to any family. She is one of those dogs that fits in with everyone. Story
Say hello to Chloe! Chloe came to us after being removed from a bad situation. Since then, she' been spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and is living large indoors and luvin it!! She adores all things soft - soft blankets, soft beds, soft laps. Since joining our foster's home back in May, Chloe has learned so many new things. She has learned that riding in a car isn't so bad if there's something good at the destination! She is completely crate-trained and house trained, and has learned to walk on a leash and go for adventures. She even went on a camping trip and was such a great camp dog, hanging out with her peeps in camp.Chloe loves to sunbathe and get belly rubs. She loves to cuddle on the couch and sleep in bed with her favorite humans. She enjoys meeting new people. During our last adoption event, she surprised everyone by how confident she was. She just wanted to meet all the people! Chloe is affectionate and gentle. She is patient and kind. She is curious and goofy. We feel that she would do well with well-mannered children, and she might even be okay with a canine companion. We have opened her world to so many new things, and she has taken everything in stride, confidently clearing all hurdles! She is ready to spread her wings in her new life with her forever family! Interested in meeting Chloe? Let us know! *Call or text 833-473-7364 or *Send an email to sacrdroperations@gmail.com (including your phone number) or *Message us on social media @resilientdogrescue or *Inquire using the Adopt a Pet system - be sure to include your phone number We look forward to hearing from you! Story
Raider: The Bat-Eared ExplorerLooking for a best friend who’ll keep you smiling and your heart full? Raider is your girl! This young, energetic pup (about 1½ years old) is full of curiosity and joy. Her adorable bat ears are always perked up, ready to catch the sound of a treat bag—or maybe a squirrel rustling nearby (she gets a little excited about those!).Raider loves life’s simple pleasures: playing fetch, squeaking her favorite toys, and going for car rides to see the world. She’s a smart cookie who already knows “sit” and “come,” especially when treats are involved! She can be a bit enthusiastic on leash—there’s just so much to explore—but once out of her kennel, she settles in beautifully. Raider may not show her best self behind kennel doors; she just wants to be out where the fun and love are.Raider recently earned an A+ on her “Barks and Rec” field trip, where she went hiking and relaxed at a volunteer’s home. The report? “Kind and friendly.” That’s Raider in a nutshell.Raider has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!

Story
DaisyBoo is a 3 year old little love bug that only weighs 45 lbs. She as found as a stray. In a heartbreaking turn of events, we were able to locate her original owner, but they could no longer afford to keep her. She is longing for a family again as she wants nothing more than to just hang out with you! She’s a low-maintenance dog that would be perfect for apartment or home living and would be a great choice for a family with children. Daisy is smart, fun and loves her stuffies! She’s currently enrolled in training sessions to master leash walking in urban environments around other dogs. Her former owner said she played well with other dogs. If you'd like to meet Daisy-Boo please fill out the following application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HHRC/Dog and we will get back to you within 72 hours. (Please do NOT submit an inquiry via Adoptapet - we are not able to view or respond to such inquiries.) Story
Introducing London! She is a beautiful boxer/American bulldog mix (per dna test) who was out of time in the shelter. Her estimated dob is 3/1/24 and should be around 50 to 55lbs full grown. London is doing well.  She is a typical puppy who needs rules and boundaries. London needs proper introductions to strangers.  She is easily redirected to her toys and has been good about not chewing things in the house  She does like to dig a little and explore the yard.  She is doing great with the other pack members in the house and loves her visits to another foster to play with a group of youngsters!.  She is an exhuberant player. And London really likes the water! We are walking in the neighborhood daily.  She is also learning basic commands. She is now on to the Intermediate obedience class and is picking up the commands quickly.  London stays in a crate at night and when her foster mom is away from the house. Potty training has been conquered. And London uses a dog door.  Car rides are also going well.  Cats are unknown. London's wish list: 1.   secure yard 2.   no small children 3.   Obedience training ongoing 4.   Daily walks 5.   Continued socialization   6.   A playful dog friend would be good too!   Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
