Story

Kameha has been a part of our family since he was 4 weeks old. He grew up in an apartment with 4 children. He loves to be a part of the family, cuddle, watch movies, and play outside. Kameha has a really kind playful spirit, loves other dogs, and gets excited to be around people in general. We recently had to relocate and unfortunately our landlord does not allow pets. We’ve attempted to find another home to live in to accommodate our family size and price range but cannot find an area or a landlord to accommodate all of our needs. Our mother stepped up and has been able to have him in her home for the time being but he is in need of a permanent home a loving home with kind loving people who will show him the love and attention he deserves. As difficult as this is, we are needing to re-home him and know he will be confused and sad but will definitely break out of his shell and show his beautiful personality and loving spirit.

Amazingly sweet guy. Rescue. Little anxiety if alone but has adjusted. Ideally needs a home someone is around more. We both work so he's alone most of the time now. Even though he sleeps all day, he likes someone around and would like to be able to be outside more! Think he would love to have a friend to play with but don't know how he'll respond at first. He's great with his Chihuahua 'sisters' but they are pretty bossy. NEEDS TRAINING! He will respond incredibly well to training. Would love space to run around and play. Housebroken. No bad habits. Hi there, I`m Diamond!You could say I`m a Diamond in the rough! I am the sweetest pittie you could meet. I`m calm and affectionate, and love being held. I`m also a fan of squeaky toys in particular. Sometimes I pull a bit on my leash but it`s nothing I couldn`t learn better with practice. I`m just so excited to leave my kennel and see you. I like other dogs and want to meet them so that also makes me pull sometimes because I`m curious. After a long walk I get kinda pooped and it`s time for me to get pets and snuggles which are my favorite. Come meet me today!I also went on a doggie day out adventure with a volunteer on April 20, 2024.We started out walking along the river and Tower Bridge, through Old Sacramento. Next, we went to McKinley Park and walked & played. Finally, we had lunch at Cafe Bernardo and walked around for a bit. My volunteer described me as Active, lovable, playful, obedient, though a bit reserved at first. Daughter brought blue home when she was several weeks old. We bottle fed her and planned to re home her in the first year. She just grew on us and we kept her for over four years. But now she’s too big for our space and she needs more attention than I can provide, both my daughters have since left my home. She also is very active and needs to be taken on walks and have a large running area.

Millie is a super sweet and cuddly 8 year old girl. She loves long walks and her sweaters. She gets along with other medium to large dogs. Absolutely no cats or dogs around the same size, as her prey drive is too high. She has been around children ranging from 10 months to 8 years old in out of home settings. She enjoys car rides and to say Hi to everyone she sees. I am currently fostering her and need to find her a forever home or another foster before I move on at the end of April. She does take medications once a day, but I am willing to continue to pay for all medications.
