Story
Location: Granite Falls, MN **EXPERIENCED HOME NEEDED** Hi! My name is Raider. I am a purebred American Bully (I'm embarked!) and am approximately 3ish years old and weigh 61lbs. I am a smart, happy boy ready to find my next adventure! So, sit down and relax while I tell you all about me! Let's start with the pawsitives- I really freaking looooveeee my people. I'm housebroken and crate trained. I know "sit", "shake", "lay down", "out", "around", "place" and "stay". I am also treadmill trained. Foster mom taught me how to play frisbee and I have competed in one frisbee competition and earned an award in novice division! I would love a home that would continue to play disc with me- either competitively or just for fun in the yard. I really like to do things that engage my brain and body- including tugging on the spring pole and even chasing the herding ball around the yard. I'm your do-it-all dog! I have high drive in the following areas: food, tug, ball, disc, possession, prey. I have medium hunt/search drive. While I have lots of work ethic and intensity, I have an excellent off-switch in the house and am an expert snuggler. I will happily binge all of your favorite TV show with you, no problem. Rest assured, you'll always feel safe with my macho presence and know I will alert you to visitors, rogue squirrels any other suspicious activity (when the cats do shifty things mainly). You can always count on me! You're probably asking yourself why such a great hambone like myself is in need of a home. I became available for adoption again after my pack-mate and I decided to have our own fight club... and unfortunately, we cannot reconcile our differences. I can't have a home with any other male dogs (submissive males *may* be ok). Ideally, I would be the only dog or live with one other very laid back/ passive pooch. I want to be the man of my house! Outside of that hiccup, I need work on leash manners and emotion regulation. I am REALLY easy to live with at home, but I get overstimulated in situations outside of my element (waiting my turn to play, vet appointments etc.) and I would benefit from learning to navigate those big feelings appropriately. Foster mom has started working on this skill with me and she can provide educational training resources for my future home to help me be successful- so don't fret! Overall, I am a GREAT boy. I have lots of love and loyalty to give to someone and deserve the world. Would you give me a chance to be your forever? ** Raider is registered with AKC Canine Partners to participate in performance/companion events and his registration will be transferred to his new owner Raider is a phenomenal dog who needs an experienced and knowledgable owner to be successful. Bull Breed/high-drive dog experience is strongly preferred. -------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Hi!! I'm Penny Jo, but some of my friends call me PJ. I'm a happy, silly girl that just wants love and attention from my person. I LOVE toys, balls, ropes, and bones. When I'm not playing with my toys, I like to take a good cozy nap. I love to go for walks and play outside. I know basic commands like sit, down, shake and ask (bark). Basically, I'm like really smart. I am just a Meredith Gray trying to find her Christina Yang. I am in need of "my person" to make my days happier and for me to be your best friend in the whole wide world. I want to be by your side for all your accomplishments, your heart breaks, your little daily wins, and to help you pick out the perfect outfit. I am a polite girl and do tend to have difficulty when others aren't as polite with their introductions. So, a slow controlled introduction with other dogs works best for me! Overall, I am an awesome dog that wants to please her person. I take correction very well, am VERY smart and would love to learn more tricks! Apply today to meet me! Meet Root Beer! This 2 yr old Handsome Hunk has the sweetest puppy dog eyes. He loves all toys and when he's really excited, he has to pick up one to show it off. Root Beer loves to get pets and will rest his head on your lap if he wants more. He's great in the kennel and sleeps in it overnight without a peep. Root Beer has done well with other dogs but doesn't like to share toys. He's done best with the female dogs in his foster home. Root Beer would benefit from a person that can set firm boundaries to help him succeed as the best boy he can be. He's great with kids and all people. Root Beer is an amazing boy - it is hard to believe he hasn't found his people yet! Story
Hey friend! My name is Burton. I am a hunky boy with lots of love to give. What's the perfect home for me? I need to be the king of the castle so to speak, which means I need to be an only pet. I have a pretty intense prey-drive so I definitely can't be around kitty friends. I have trouble with other dogs because I never learned proper boundaries when I was young. At my age it's just best that I be your one and only. I am super smart and love to learn new things. My foster family taught me how to run on a treadmill and I am awesome at it. I've learned other fun new things too that I'd love to show you so we can do them together! I also am the perfect size to be a fantastic snuggle companion (about 47 lbs). If you're lonely, cold, or just wanna watch a movie together I'm your guy. I also like relaxing with some chill music and a good chew bone. Because I do need to be an only animal, I also would love a fenced in yard. That way it will keep me safe, and I can run and play all the time with no worry. I forgot to tell you the best part... My new adoptive humans get free training sessions with my adoption with an awesome trainer named Jake! We've been working together and he says I'm doing great and he wants to make sure my new family learns everything I have. If you think you might like to meet me, fill out an adoption application, and my people will be in touch. Hope to see you soon! Download an adoption application here Please email the completed application to adoptionteam4.woofriver@gmail.com Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached. TURNER and HOOCH were born approximately January 1, 2024. Luckily these little nuggets were able to stay with their mom and siblings until they were 7 weeks old. This is an amazing gift for puppies in rescue. Being with their mom during this important developmental time is priceless. At 7 weeks old they went into their very own foster home together in order to get more individual attention and ensure they become happy and well-adjusted pooches. These gorgeous boys are just bursting with puppy love, puppy kisses, puppy snuggles, and puppy playfulness. They adore people, other dogs, and kids. They have been socialized a ton! TURNER and HOOCH soak up all the cuddles and affection they can get. They excelled at crate training and are mastering their potty training. They have an inquisitive nature about them and love exploring the world around them. With one of these kids, every day’s a great day! Their forever families will be hitting the puppy jackpot! Story
Location: Savage, MN Hello! My name is Storm! The name only fits me sometimes - I can be a bit of a tornado when my humans come home from work or right when I get my day started, but I calm down pretty quickly and transform into the biggest cuddle bug. Don't let my stoic pictures fool you.. I am a happy boy who doesn't hold back my love! Not to squeak my own toy, but my foster parents say I am the easiest foster they have ever had. The crate isn't my favorite place to be, but I hang out in there just fine, and will even sleep in there if I have to. I LOVE my big foster brothers! We run around the yard and play and then snuggle up together for a nap. They showed me the ropes and let me right in to their pack (after a proper slow introduction, of course!). I'd love a fur sibling of my very own to grow up with! I do sometimes pull on my leash when we go out for walks, but ya can't really blame me because the world is just so exciting, am I right!? I can't wait to find my forever family and bring them as much joy as I've given my foster family. What are you waiting for??? Apply to meet me so I can show you how amazing I am! My tiger stripes look even cooler in person, just sayin'.. -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Shakopee, MN Who doesn't love a good Potato (we have been calling him tato)! He is an almost 9 week old possible boxer mix. I think he will be on the smaller side as his paws aren't very big. He is curious but a little cautious. He is the best snuggler and likes to touch his person while he sleeps. He does the cutest butt wiggle when he is super excited! He may be small but he makes up for it with a big personality! He would do best with another dog who can teach him the ropes. He is doing well with potty training and does great in the crate. He hasn't met something he hasn't liked yet. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Shafer, MN Hi, my name is Babinga! I'm a super sweet little lady with all the rolls and a low center of gravity. When I see you walk in the room, I give you a look that breaks hearts and I will stomp up to you wagging my tail. I love snuggles and I have yet to find a toy I don't enjoy, but I am working on not chewing on objects that are not my toys. I've met both cats and kids and have had no issues!
