Story
I adopted her from my aunties liter. Nova is 4, she will be 5 in August of 26. She’s a very hyper dog so it’s been hard for me to take care of her while also taking care of a new baby. She needs an environment without children. She also has active ear infections which are becoming hard for me to treat due to low money. She does not bark, she gives a little whine here and there but overall she’s very quiet.

Story
Did you hear that? Because I definitely did! Hi, Im Domino, and I take my job as neighborhood observer very seriously. My radar-dish ears and piercing brown eyes help me keep tabs on absolutely everything going on around me. Add in my Batman-style mask, long lean body, and a whole lot of puppy wiggles, and you've got one pretty handsome guy. Im about 53 pounds now, and my foster parents think Im mostly done growing although Ill probably fill out a little and get even stronger. One of my favorite hobbies is watching the world. Birds in the sky? I see them. Squirrels in the yard? Keeping an eye on them. Something unusual outside? Ill let out one big bark from deep in my belly just to make sure my people know they might want to investigate. Dont worry Im not one of those dogs who barks forever. I simply believe every good security system should give a proper alert. Speaking of important jobs, every morning I make sure my foster parents are awake by performing my signature move: the BIG STRETCH...right across their toes. They act like they're trying to avoid me as they dance around the kitchen, but I know they secretly appreciate my enthusiastic morning greetings. I currently live with a cattle dog, so maybe that's why I enjoy watching just about everything that moves. I love observing small critters outside and yes, even the animals on TV catch my attention! Im much more of a watcher than a chaser, though. My favorite "hunt" is stalking the flirt pole in the yard until it's the perfect moment to pounce. When it comes to playtime, Im all in. Tug-of-war is one of my absolute favorite games, and if you accept my challenge, be prepared I have a surprisingly strong neck and every intention of winning. My foster parents say Im an assertive but appropriate playmate because I know how to jump into the fun and, with a little guidance, settle back down again. They're also helping me channel my natural herding instincts into chewing on bones and playing with toys instead of trying to organize everyone else. Honestly, that seems like a pretty good trade. My days have lots of structure, and I really thrive on it. Potty training came naturally because I know how to let my people know when I need to go outside. During the day, Im perfectly happy relaxing in my kennel or my own puppy space for a few hours, and at night I put myself to bed and sleep soundly for 8-9 hours. Im also becoming quite the walking buddy. I wear a head halter on my walks, and while Im definitely interested in everything happening around me, Im easy to redirect and enjoy working with my person. Im very motivated by both food and toys, so teaching me new things is actually pretty fun. One thing my foster family does keep an eye on is my curiosity. I like to investigate the world with my nose and sometimes my mouth. Because of that, they supervise me to make sure I don't snack on things that definitely aren't part of a balanced puppy diet, like toy stuffing, grass clippings, or mystery treasures I find outside. I live with another dog, and if you ask me, life is simply better with a canine best friend. My foster sister sometimes says I can be a little pushy or mouthy during play (she has opinions), but we're learning together, and I respond well to guidance. After a full day of playing, nothing makes me happier than curling up right next to or sometimes right on top of my dog buddy for a nap. I enjoy people and love couch cuddles, but deep down, Im what my foster parents call "a dog's dog." Having another confident dog in my forever home is at the very top of my wish list. Im also getting ready to start obedience classes with Paws Abilities to sharpen my manners, improve my impulse control, and become an even better companion. Im a smart pup, and I cant wait to show everyone what Im capable of. My dream family will appreciate my curious mind, playful spirit, and silly personality while continuing to give me the structure and training I thrive on. If youre looking for a loyal adventure buddy, an enthusiastic tug-of-war champion, an expert morning alarm clock, and your very own four-legged security system, I think Im your guy. I cant wait to meet you! Please visit our website saveabullmn.org to learn more about this amazing pet and see other available dogs.

Story
Hi there! Im Axel your future snuggle buddy, playmate, and professional happy guy. Im a super sweet, people-loving pup whos always ready for fun. I adore toys, playing outside, and cuddling (especially cuddling honestly, it might be my top skill). Im playful, silly, and love to stay active, but I also take my couch naps very seriously. My foster parents say Ive mastered the art of balance equal parts zoomies and chill time. Playtime is basically my full-time job! I love sprinting around the house or yard with a toy, playing tug with my humans or my dog friends, and engaging in some top-tier wrestling matches. Hand me a chew toy and Ill happily settle in for a serious gnawing session. I also enjoy walks and hanging out outside, though I have to admit winter isnt really my vibe. I miss sunbathing on the grass and splashing around in the hose! I do have a warm jacket that helps, but on cold days Id much rather be inside finding creative ways to burn energy (and maybe stealing your spot on the couch). When playtime ends, cuddle time begins.Personal space? Never heard of it! If you sit down, Im climbing into your lap. If were on the couch together, were snuggling. Those are the rules, and I didnt make them I just enforce them. Right now, I live with two dogs and a cat.I LOVE the dogs, and we have an absolute blast together. I can be a bit of a boundary-pusher, but only because I get so excited about playing. Id do great with another confident, playful dog whos comfortable giving me clear (and consistent!) corrections. As for cats I think theyre fascinating. Too fascinating. The one here looks like a fluffy puppy, and I really want to play but my enthusiasm is a little too much, so my foster parents say Id be happiest in a cat-free home. Kids? Huge fan!Ive met lots of them and love all the attention and pets they give. Because Im young and easily excited, Id do best with older kids who are comfortable around dogs and wont be overwhelmed by my enthusiastic greetings. Ive been working hard on my training, and it shows!Im a kennel rockstar I go right in, nap quietly while my foster parents work, and stay calm when they leave the house. I sleep through the night and wait patiently in the morning like a very good boy. Ive also mastered potty training and am learning new tricks all the time. Im very food-motivated (shocking, I know!), and I love learning. My biggest challenge right now is remembering to stay calm in exciting situations like meeting new people or when my foster parents come home but Im making great progress. When I first arrived, I was a very hyper, undersocialized pup. Now? Ive come a long way. I thrive with structure, routines, and clear expectations. My forever family should be ready to keep enforcing boundaries and give me plenty of outlets for my energy. Do those things, and I promise Ill be an amazing dog. My foster parents also think an obedience class would be a great way for us to bond and help me understand that the same rules apply in my new home too. Ive been through a lot in my young life, but Im resilient, goofy, and full of love. All I really want is to make my people happy and give them my whole heart. Im ready for my forever home and cant wait to meet the family who chooses me. I hope its you. Story
Ready to Play? Got a Yard? Are You My New Best Friend?! Whoa, hi! My name is Court! Whats your name? I came all the way from a place called Texas with my brothers. Have you been? It was a long trip, but now I'm here and ready for my next big adventure. They say they named me after a basketball player, which makes a lot of sense because I'm a tall, lanky guy about 70lbs now and I am super bouncy. I have these cool black dappled ears and big brown eyes that the humans say are very 'expressive'. Does that mean they know I'm wondering when dinner is? I'm still a puppy my brain is a giant question mark and my legs are powered by springs. That means I still need training to learn all the grown-up dog rules. My foster humans have been teaching me so much! I know sit, down, and even shake with BOTH paws! Can you believe it? But since I'm so excited about, well, everything! I still need a family to teach me things like how not to jump up to say hi. Will you be my new teacher? I promise I'm a good student! My brain is always working overtime! Sometimes I need a minute to just look around and investigate everything what's that smell? Who was here before? Think of it this way: I have to read the whole instruction manual before I can get to work and obviously, I read it by sniffing. Once I've figured out my surroundings, I'm a super-fast learner and ready for anything! A Few More Questions For You: Do you have other dogs? I live with one right now and she's taught me so much! She's a 4-year-old pro who still loves to play. We wrestle like champions, but the humans say my play style has 'mellowed' from playing with her. Does that mean I'm learning from the master? All I know is we have a blast and she's teaching me how to be a great play-buddy. If you have another fun dog, I'm ready for a tryout! Do you have kids? I got to stay with some elementary-aged kids for a while and the report was that I was GREAT with them! They're so much fun and I would greet them eagerly for attention. I just need a family who can help me remember that a 70 lb. bouncy guy needs to be gentle during playtime and that snacks in small hands aren't a free-for-all! Got any cats? I saw a cat one time. It didnt want to play chase, so I just took a nap. The humans said I was calm and disinterested. Are all cats like that? Im willing to learn more if you have a cat-savvy one! What's your perfect day look like? Does it involve a big, fenced-in yard? I hope so! I have this hilarious habit of taking every single toy out of the basket before I can play. Then, when I'm in the yard, I sometimes get so happy I just have to flop on my back and wiggle and grunt. It's the best feeling! After all that, my favorite thing is being a 70lb lap dog. Okay, Last Thing, I Promise! Im a really smart boy who's already got a head start on my manners. My foster family says I'm 100% potty-trained (in a yard!) and I sleep all night in my kennel without a peep. All I need now is a family who understands the fun and challenge of a big, bouncy puppy and is ready to teach me everything I need to know to be the best dog ever. My foster family says good things come to those who wait, but waiting is BORING and I'm ready to play now. Is it you? Are you the one who's going to teach me new things, let me snooze on your feet, and go on adventures? If you are, Im ready lets go! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Midnight Lagoon found himself unwanted in a high kill shelter in West Texas. He is good with other low-key dogs and kids. He is allergic to cats. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.  Middy is a sweet and loving boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality! He loves attention and has come a long way since arriving in Minnesota. Middy is playful and energetic, often showing his enthusiasm with lots of vocal play. He especially enjoys lying in the sun and spending time near trailers—he’s a unique boy with a lot of charm! Good With: People: Yes, after proper introductions. He has stranger danger and doesn't like direct eye contact with strangers. Once you are in his bubble he has no personal space and the pitty lean is perfected and made even better if you add a hiney scratch for him. Other Dogs: Good with most dogs as long as they are calmer and not dominant but can be selective initially. He doesn't like nose to nose meets initally.Cats: Good with cats, but he is allergic to them. So those are a hard pass to keep him feeling his best. Training: Middy is crate-trained and leash-trained, making him a great companion for daily walks and adventures. He enjoys car rides.  Ideal Home: Middy would thrive in a home with: A fenced yard where he can bask in the sun. Older kids who can match his energy and playful nature after time.  A family willing to provide daily walks and lots of love. Notes: 'Middy is a total sweetie pie! He has made incredible progress since he first came to us and is ready to find his forever home. He has so much love to give and truly deserves to be loved in return.'    Food allergies: Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Flaxseed and Barley   Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 6, 2026, 11:03 am

Story
Hi, I'm Espresso! I'm a happy-go-lucky pup with the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle-loving charm. I love a good game of tug, wrestling with my dog friends, and carrying around my favorite soft fleece toys. Whether I'm chasing my siblings around the yard or making new canine and human friends, I'm always ready for some fun. But once I've gotten my zoomies out, I'm just as happy to curl up in your lap or rest my head on your shoulder for a cozy nap. That's one of my favorite places to be! I've settled into a great daily routine and already know that outdoor walks are for potty breaks—I'm successful about 90% of the time! My kennel is my cozy, relaxing space where I can unwind between adventures. I'm a smart boy who enjoys learning and would thrive with regular exercise, fun training challenges, and plenty of opportunities to use my brain. If you're looking for a loving companion who's equal parts playful and affectionate, I might be your perfect match. I'd love a home with another playful dog, but I'd also be happy as your one-and-only if you have lots of time for fun and snuggles. I think kids are great, I adore meeting new people, and I'm ready to fill my forever home with love, laughter, and lots of tail wags! ---- *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue.
