Story
Age: DOB 12/13/2024 Dog friendly: Yes, another dog required in her home Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: No, Pumpkin would do best in an adults only home. Potty trained: Yes, on a schedule Crate trained: Yes ***Needs companion dog in home*** Sweet Pumpkin is a friendly, affectionate pup who came to us all the way from the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota, where she was living as a stray puppy all alone. When she first arrived, she was scared and unsure with her tail tucked. With strangers, she does still have an initial wariness, but once you are part of her trusted circle, she quickly comes out of her shell. She is a goofy and playful girl who LOVES to cuddle up in your lap, chew on bones and chase balls. Pumpkin is full of affection and gets along great with other dogs. She's also very smart and well-behaved, she's never chewed on anything she's not supposed to, and she's never had a potty accident indoors. She's a pretty quiet girl, but will make noise at appropriate times - which isn't often. She sleeps with the resident dogs at night and happily spends portions of her day quietly in a crate. Pumpkin still has some puppy energy, so she would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. However, as long as she gets daily walks or runs, she'd do just as well without one. Pumpkin's foster family will miss her dearly, but we know she'll bring copious amounts of love to her forever home! Adoption Fee: $425

Story
Hope is a 4-year-old female American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mix. She is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and knows basic commands including sit, stay, lay down, and come. She is affectionate with people and has no known history of aggression toward humans. Unfortunately, she has developed serious inter-animal aggression in my home. She has seriously injured both my dog, Rookie, and my cat, Speckles, and I can no longer safely manage her in a multi-pet household. I am seeking an experienced rescue or adopter who can evaluate her and provide a safe, appropriate placement as the only pet. I will provide complete veterinary records and a full behavioral history to any serious rescue or adopter.

This boy was rescued from a neglectful house. Thunder fits his name! He is a talker: to people, other dogs, whoever. He is friendly and likes to be held. He does use a dog door but would need training for everything else. He gets along with other dogs but can guard food. He is a good boy who is ready for a new home. Story
Meet Artie, a handsome 2-year-old American Staffordshire mix with a big heart and an even bigger desire to learn. At 58 pounds, he's the perfect medium-sized companion who is discovering just how wonderful life can be.Artie is the kind of dog who thrives with routine, encouragement, and tasty treats. He's incredibly food motivated, already knows "sit" and "shake," and is eagerly learning new skills every day. Instead of marathon walks, he'd much rather spend time solving a food puzzle, working on a Kong, or happily chewing on a Nylabone. Give him an oversized stick in the yard and he'll proudly parade it around before settling in for a good chew. One of Artie's sweetest qualities is how much he loves people. He happily greets visitors and enjoys meeting new friends on walks. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate side shines through, complete with belly rub requests and a habit of resting his chin on his canine friend's back like the world's cutest pillow.Artie came into rescue without much early socialization, so he's still figuring out how to be a dog. He's curious about other dogs and loves having them around, but he's learning the best way to invite them to play. Slow introductions and patient guidance help him build confidence, and he continues to make great progress. He has also done well living with a cat, although his enthusiastic curiosity sometimes earns him a playful swat.In the home, Artie is crate trained and making wonderful progress with potty training. He uses potty pads if available and is settling into a reliable routine. He enjoys one or two short walks each day along with time to explore the yard, and he appreciates a calm, predictable environment where he can relax and continue learning.Artie is a bit like a puppy in an adult dog's body. Everything is new, exciting, and worth investigating. Watching him grow in confidence and discover the world has been incredibly rewarding, and his future family will have the joy of seeing that journey continue. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, plenty of laughs, and the satisfaction of watching a wonderful dog blossom, Artie may be the perfect match. If you are interested in Artie, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Look at little Louie! Could he be any cuter!? Louie is about 6.5 months old, and he weighs about 45 pounds. Louie is friendly, happy, a sweet little guy that has lived with other dogs, cats and kids under 5 years old even. We were told his mother may have been a Bulldog/Boxer mix? And dad may have been a pitbull bulldog mix? Mother is more certain. He is on the road to being housetrained but still in the process of nailing it. Interested in adopting? Let us know!   We think Louie would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time, at this young age. He's quite the velcro dog. A home with another dog would be great, he loves to be near his person (caretaker) but also could chill and play with another dog.   Louie likes to sleep with you too! This brings him great comfort (he is used to this), so an ideal home would let him sleep with them (if possible)! http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms If you would like to learn more about this pup, please submit an interest form on our website:    https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Puppy adoption fees range from $450-$650 + Mn tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: DHPP vaccine, lepto vaccine, rabies vaccine, 4DX test (@8months or older),  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 15, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Meet Amy  A beautiful Boxer/Lab mix with a heart of gold and eyes that will melt yours. Amy is the definition of a sensitive soul. She’s happiest right by your side—whether she’s quietly keeping you company or soaking up all the cuddles you can give. And don’t forget her favorite comfort: her blankie! Amy loves to burrow underneath it, just poking her nose out to check in on you—it's as adorable as it sounds.  Why You’ll Fall in Love with Amy: The Perfect Travel Buddy – Amy loves car rides and is always ready to hop in for your next adventure. A+ Student – She’s fully potty trained and already knows her “sit” and “stay.” She’s eager to please and a wonderful listener. Gentle & Affectionate – Amy forms deep, meaningful bonds with her people and thrives on love and connection. Great Walking Partner – She enjoys her daily walks and does well on a leash. Amy has also met a cat in her temporary foster home and politely chose to ignore it—what a lady!  What Amy Needs in a Forever Home: Amy can be a bit of a wallflower at first. She’s sensitive to loud or sudden noises and can be unsure around other dogs. With guidance from trainers, she’s already making great progress and does well when given space from other dogs—she’s learning every day! Because of this, Amy would do best in: A calm, patient home that will help her continue building confidence A single-family house, where there are fewer unexpected noises A home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved at her own pace  The Reward: Give Amy a little patience and a peaceful environment, and she’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, trust, and the coziest snuggles you could ever hope for.   Ready to make Amy part of your family? If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Amy could be your perfect match. Not able to adopt right now? You can still help! Story
Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m about a year old Boxer mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the good boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I would need a home with another dog because I love to play!   I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without small kids, as sometimes I am anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and love antlers and bones to chew on.    If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, I’m your pup. I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
