This girl is the last of her litter to find a home. She is friendly, happy and loves people. She does get along with other dogs and kids. She would have to learn about cats, leashes, and being in a home. She has a wonderful personality and will be a joy to any family who adopts her. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This girl was found by a city dump in rough shape. She has conquered malnutrition, severe mange and rickets. She is a true survivor with the best personality. She gets along with other dogs, bigger and smaller than her. She is always happy to see people and still likes to be picked up when. She has never had any aggression or meanness. Just the sweetest baby! She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This sweet girl is one of many dogs who's fate it was to be abandoned here in the south. People are throwing sweet dogs out day and night in this economy. Ducky is one of the lucky ones that was picked up by a kind stranger and brought to a rescue that was able to find a foster! She is Spayed and UTD on required vaccines. Ducky likes other dogs but is rambunctious. She loves everyone she meets so older children would be fine. She is close to housetrained and will just need to get comfortable with her new routine. Zeus is a playful 8 year old that loves to sit on your lap. He likes to go for a ride and will sit up in the seat beside you to watch everything. His owner passed away so he is kind of lost right now hoping that he finds a new home with caring loving people as soon as possible. Zeus was housebroken but could use a refresher course as his owner was very sick before passing away and was unable to take him outside for his potty breaks at times. A loving person that would put a lot of care into him would have a friend for life. Smarty Marty is just that...one SMART girl!!! She was found just broken and defeated. Didn't trust the people who were trying to help her because people are who hurt her and neglected her ;( Smarty's foster mom and savior says, "It's hard to post and talk about her without tearing up because I'm just in such awww of how far she has come. Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Donut is a 6-year-old English Bulldog with a face you’ll want to smoosh and a soul that’s slowly learning what love feels like. She’s had a tough start to life, but now she’s safe, warm, and discovering just how good it can feel to be part of a real family. She’s a quiet, gentle girl who prefers calm, cozy environments. Donut doesn’t care much for toys or most treats — unless you happen to have Cheetos, which she finds completely irresistible. She has recently mastered the stairs and while she’s working on leash skills, she’s much more comfortable roaming freely in a fenced-in yard. A harness works best for her, as she can easily wiggle out of a collar, and trust us — she will if given the chance.  She is able to walk behind with the leash but still prefers to do her business in the back yard.   At home, Donut likes to find a peaceful corner to relax in and prefers when people interact with her at her level, as standing over her can be intimidating. She doesn’t bark much, only when alarmed, and she gets along well with friendly dogs of all sizes. She doesn’t need a dog companion in her forever home, but she may enjoy having one around. Donut is potty trained on a consistent schedule and will often stay dry overnight, though she sometimes uses a potty pad if needed. She’s not crate trained but does well having her own quiet space. Donut’s right eye doesn’t produce tears, so she may need occasional over-the-counter drops, but it doesn’t slow her down. She also has arthritis in her back and needs daily medication.  What she really needs is someone with patience, kindness, and a heart big enough to help her continue to come out of her shell. She’s sweet. She’s sensitive. She’s a little weird in the best possible way. While breed experience is not required, we encourage you to thoroughly research the breed and its financial, medical, and environmental needs to be sure the breed is a good fit for you and your family.  It is estimated that the average bulldog owner spends $2,000 per year on medical needs.
