He is allergic to cats. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Middy is a sweet and loving boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality! He loves attention and has come a long way since arriving in Minnesota. Middy is playful and energetic, often showing his enthusiasm with lots of vocal play. He especially enjoys lying in the sun and spending time near trailers—he’s a unique boy with a lot of charm! Good With: People: Yes, after proper introductions. He has stranger danger and doesn't like direct eye contact with strangers. Other Dogs: Good with most dogs as long as they are calmer and not dominant but can be selective initially. Cats: Good with cats, but he is allergic to them. Training: Middy is crate-trained and leash-trained, making him a great companion for daily walks and adventures. Ideal Home: Middy would thrive in a home with: A fenced yard where he can bask in the sun. Oakley is a playful and energetic dog. He loves tug of war and playing fetch, although he hasn’t quite got the “drop it” command down pat yet. Curious and smart, he excels at active or constant training. He’s food-motivated, so he picks up new tricks very well. He is potty and crate trained. He does very well around other dogs. He should be kept in his kennel or on a leash around children as we don’t think he’s been introduced to many in his life. We don’t know about cats. Oakley loves to live every day to its fullest. Every morning and night, he cuddles and lazes on the couch. He will entertain himself with his toys and chews, but he loves to include others in his playtime. He can also be very goofy when he's playful. If he tires out in the afternoon, he’ll take naps as well. His issues are that he can get overstimulated. He hasn’t been trained out of puppy-nipping and still does that. Commands he knows: Sit, Kennel, Come, Stay, Down, Place, Back Up, Release, and Shake.
