She's on the lookout for her forever home!Teja is affectionate and friendly - especially when meeting new people - and loves nothing more than pets and belly rubs. She's wonderful with older kids, though younger children can sometimes overwhelm her gentle nature.With other dogs, Teja is respectful and does best with pups smaller than her 70 pounds. When it comes to larger dogs, she can be a bit unsure, so a smaller canine companion would be the best fit.Her idea of a perfect day? A nice walk, some couch time, outdoor 'sniff-aris' to explore the world, and plenty of snuggles with her humans. And if that day also includes the joy of deconstructing a toy, well, that's the cherry on top!What she could live without? Thunderstorms, allergy season, chicken, and sharp noises. Lolo is the sweetest craziest girl! She is a bit of an enigma since she is part pit part herding dog - for example, she loves to RUN, but hates the cold! She is still pretty rowdy and will need more training, but she is very trainable with treats and learns quickly. With structure and plenty of exercise and socialization in her life, she will blossom and thrive. We would be committed to her success in our household much more so if we didn’t also have cats - her prey drive has not let up since we adopted her 7 months ago. We wish we could keep her and will be unbelievably sad to give her up. She is such a sweetie and would do so well in our household if not for the kitties. Lolo (short for Loretta) would do best in a home with another energetic dog so they could play all day! She needs to get her energy out daily and our other dog is an old man who is interested but is not on her level. She can play rough so further socialization with other dogs would be great for her.

This sweet girl is one of many dogs who's fate it was to be abandoned here in the south. People are throwing sweet dogs out day and night in this economy. Ducky is one of the lucky ones that was picked up by a kind stranger and brought to a rescue that was able to find a foster! She is Spayed and UTD on required vaccines. Ducky likes other dogs but is rambunctious. She loves everyone she meets so older children would be fine. She is close to housetrained and will just need to get comfortable with her new routine.
