Cattle Dogs thrive with a job to do, and Mae and West are no exception. Hiking? They’re in. Actual cattle herding? Even better. Standing in the kitchen while you make coffee? Congratulations, you’ve been assessed, judged, and quietly moved two feet to the left. We recommend a home that knows and loves the working breed life — and kids 12 and older, because little ones tend to get very efficiently herded into corners. If you’ve got the active lifestyle and the sense of humor to match, Mae and West might just be your perfect ranch hands. Mae is super affectionate and loves to cuddle. She's playful and bouncy, and spends most of her days playing with her doggie friends, playing fetch, or voluntarily hanging out in her crate when she wants to nap.
