Story
Clark is a 4-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love and energy. He’s the perfect blend of playful and affectionate — he lives for a good game of fetch, loves to run and explore on long walks, and will happily snuggle up at the end of the day for some well-earned cuddle time. Clark is incredibly smart and thrives in a calm, structured environment. He’s looking for an experienced, patient dog owner who understands the needs of a sensitive, loyal pup. Like many herding breeds, Clark is very aware of his surroundings — he does have reactive anxiety and can be slow to warm up to new people. He would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with someone who can offer him consistent routines and lots of outdoor time. Clark is dog-selective — he tends to prefer calm, submissive dogs and doesn’t do well in off-leash group settings. He is not suited for a home with children. He’s crate-trained, house-trained, and happiest when he has a job to do — even if it’s just being your most loyal

Story
Banjo is a 1.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog/American Eskimo Dog mix. At 45 lbs, he is the perfect size and a very well trained boy! Banjo is fully house trained and crate trained, quietly resting overnight and waiting patiently in the mornings. He willingly enters his crate when requested. Banjo is a loving angel with his family, gets along well with other dogs, and is great on the leash. He understands which items are his to chew, does not damage household belongings, and is a clean dog with minimal shedding. True to his breed, he is active and athletic. He enjoys playing fetch and is intelligent, thriving on engaging activities. He knows many commands and is very trainable. Banjo does struggle with meeting new people and is looking for a home without a lot of visitors coming and going. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
I’m Snow White — a 7-month-old Cattle Dog/Lab mix, about 26 pounds, with the prettiest “fairy tale” face you’ve ever seen. I have two striking, different-colored eyes that everyone falls in love with right away. I’m a very sweet girl hoping for my own happily-ever-after with a family of my own. For a young pup, I’m actually pretty chill. I’m great with other dogs and enjoy their company. I’m also good with kids and happy to be part of a busy, loving household where I can be included in family life. People say I have the perfect mix of beauty and a laid-back, gentle temperament. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing friend with storybook looks and a golden heart, I’d love to be your Snow White. Story
Rocky is a one-year-old, 52 Ib. bundle of love with an incredible mix of breeds (English Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog, American Staffordshire Terrier) that make him truly one-of-a-kind! With his soft white coat, expressive eyes, and playful energy, Rocky is sure to steal your heart. This sweet boy was found roaming the streets of Texas before being rescued, and he's now safe in a foster home in Connecticut where he has been since March of 2024. We don't know much about Rocky's past, but he is shy and cautious when meeting new people. However, once he feels comfortable, his sweet and affectionate side shines through. He adores belly rubs, cuddles, and will happily offer you kisses when he's ready. He loves to chew on bones and will come running from any room in the house for a piece of ice when he hears the freezer door open. Rocky just needs time and patience to build trust, so he'd do best with an experienced dog owner. Rocky is currently living with multiple dogs in his foster home and gets along well with them. If there are other dogs in the home, they should be calmer and submissive. He is not good with cats. Rocky is more comfortable around women and would do best in a calm, quiet home with teens and up. This smart boy is both house/crate trained and highly food-motivated, making him a great candidate for further training. His adoption fee is $400 and he is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. If you are interested in Rocky, please complete our online application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. If you have any questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.
