Story
This special little girl is Harper. She came to us as a young momma of 2 beautiful pups! Since then, her pups have grown and gotten adopted. Now Harper says it’s her turn for her new family! She is a young cattle dog mix with the sweetest personality. She is very treat motivated and loves to play with her person. She doesn’t really care for toys though.

Story
Drew is such a good boy. He is a cattle dog with all the energy but he is so very tolerant. He has allowed our kennel techs to do nearly everything to him and we’re met with nothing but love and affection. Drew would be best in a farm with a job and some kids to play around with. Drew is a young adult. He is done growing but will likely fill out a bit more once he is home and neutered. HW status unknown but testing available upon adoption/rescue.

Story
Meet Caleb, a handsome 2-year-old male weighing 41 lbs. Caleb arrived at the shelter on March 24, 2024, after being found as a lost boy with no one to reclaim him. He's a gentle soul, a bit reserved but incredibly sweet once he warms up to you. Caleb is quite the obedient pup, knowing commands like sit, stay, shake, offer his paw, and lay down. He's currently residing at Run #54, eagerly awaiting his forever home. Caleb has been neutered and will be microchipped before adoption. He's up to date on his vaccines, and a heartworm test will also be conducted before his adoption is finalized. Don't miss the chance to bring this lovable guy into your life! His ID is 655453. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Story
Rex is a 1- 2yr old male cattle dog mix (7/2022) aprox 30lbs. Rex is coming out of his shell. He has been in rescue a few short months building confidence and learning skills to be forever home ready. He still takes a little time to warm up, but with a few feedings, he will be your forever friend. If you need to make an instant connection with a dog Rex is probably not going to be your dog as he sits quietly and wide-eyed in his crate at adoptions. He is quiet in his crate and considers that his safe relaxation place. He likes soft blankets in his crate. Rex goes outside to potty and walks with you around the yard jumping up to kiss the tips of your fingers. He will eventually become a snuggler, but that has to happen on his terms when he feels safe and loved. Rex is NOT good with cats. Rex would not mind a female dog that is close to his size to play with. adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms. To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##1912824##

Story
We love our Theo. He is a great dog and truly loves his family. We got him February of 2020, so he has some seperation anxiety considering we were with him almost everyday of his puppy months. He is a hearding dog and truly wants to heard. He started trying to heard people once we had our first baby. He has gotten professional training where he was gone for a month and a half. He is trained on a collar/remote system. He is very protective of our household and my kids, but he doesnt like anybody in our yard. We had an incident where he ran up to my husbands grandfather and scared him, so we are having to rehome. He would do great on a big farm with lots of area to run and heard. We use our trainer to board him and she has a lifetime policy where she will help with any training and we board him with her. He is prescribed anxiety medication for scenarios that may make him anxious. He is really a great dog, and we never thought we'd rehome, but for our living situation it is best!
