We adopted Vee ~5 yrs ago from a rescue group,at maybe 2 yrs old.Vee is such a sweet girl.She follows you around like a shadow.She IS food aggressive!She got along great with our Great Dane before she passed.She does awesome at the vet.We board her in a private kennel and she’s fine. We also get her groomed occasionally and they always say she is the sweetest!We are having to rehome her because of moving and health reasons.My health has changed drastically since getting her to where I need assisted devices for walking.So therefore theres just no room or time for her to get the adequate exercise that her breed needs.Vee loves my 9 yr old.She’s never had any issues with her.Vee would be GREAT in a home as a single pet with plenty of room to play.Maybe with older kids that wouldn’t scare her.Or an older couple that can devote their time to her.

Summer is an 8 month old female Australian Cattle Dog mix, and is a shy, gentle and super sweet pup who is SO deserving of her forever home. Although listed as a Cattle Dog, she has the beautiful looks and size of a fox, and is almost as timid as one also. When new people approach, she often retreats to the back of her pen, watching quietly with cautious curiosity. AN ACTIVE & FUN FELLOW:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 33 lbs. Hello – I’m Cody!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’ve been soaking up the love ever since!  As much as I love the great volunteers, I am ready to meet my new family and start my ‘happily ever after’ with them!  So, come meet me soon!  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I’m available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over, as I am pretty strong and active. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a busy guy with a friendly demeanor.  In fact, I’ve heard the volunteers describe me as ‘a strong and lovable guy with a sweet nature’.  I’ll either charm you with my handsome good looks or delight you with my contagious playfulness!  Though I’m quite energetic, I did calm down for my shelter bath and the great rubs and pets that came with that.  I have been a bit playfully mouthy and wiggly during leashing at the shelter and leave my kennel raring to go, so be ready for my enthusiasm, right out of the gate.  I’m just so happy to be out and about with the volunteers!  The volunteers say that I do the most adorable head tilts when I hear certain sounds, like whistling – so cute!  Affectionate and fun, I’m ready to bring lots of fun and adventure to my new home! / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I’ve mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’, and ‘drop it’ commands and can’t wait to learn more!  Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, though I don’t want to spend a lot of time in my crate. / I've been having just a few accidents on the shelter schedule, so continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I LOVE being petted and will happily spend time hanging out with a volunteer on the front bench after my walks – collecting all the tummy scratches you wish to give!  I’m also quite treat motivated, so have those handy when you want my undivided attention – lol.  Toys get my attention as well, so let’s PLAY! / I can’t think of any real dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving furever family to have fun with!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  January 2, 2026, 7:57 am
