Story
Bayli is an extremely intelligent dog! She was abandoned and needed to be cared for when I took her in. I’m disabled and unemployed so I can’t keep her. She’s house trained, knows how to sit, lay down, stay, get up/come. She’d be perfect in a home with other dogs. I truly love her and wish I could afford to keep her.

Story
Todd Phox was rescued by Angels along with his beagle friend from a miserable situation: this poor kid was all alone at the shelter for over a week! No wonder he felt shy and insecure at first.    Upon arrival to the foster home, he took some time to start moving around the house and slowly interacting with dogs and people. He is still hand shy and definitely a flight risk, but we can already tell a lot about his emerging personality. We suspect this handsome young man (he is barely 9 months old) to be at least part Australian Cattle Dog  People who consider a heeler should carefully research about this breed, which has a lot of very special characteristics and is absolutely not for everyone!    Heelers are considered to be "shadow dogs", and even despite his shyness, Todd started following us around quickly. He doesn't like being left behind for sure and is vocal about it, but he does sleep in his crate at night.   We do believe that Todd would greatly benefit from having a dog companion who would show him a positive example of human interaction and help to bind with his new owners. The same companion should be playful and friendly, because Todd loves to play and would most probably annoy older dog with his frequent invitations.   Todd does need a lot of physical activity. He must have both off leash time and walks, so that he can explore. He is very clever and will require mental challenges as well as physical.   More about Todd:   He is 9 months old and still has growing to do. We estimate him to be around 40-45 pounds when full grown. He does shed, he has a soft, fluffy, double coat. He is food motivated and eats everything.   He walks well on a leash, but will need to be double leashed and watched carefully during the first few weeks in his new environment.   He is partially house trained and is making a great progress (basically from zero skills to having almost no accidents (within a 5 day period).   He is overall healthy and heart worm negative, but he has a fully healed scar on a side of his face that needs to be watched.   More pictures of Mr.Todd can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/125343018@N03/2F8D0n94DW     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Introducing Roo, the lovable 2-year-old male dog who is patiently waiting for his forever home! This playful pup arrived at the shelter on 5/3/23 after being turned in by his previous owner, who sadly had to move and could not take him along. He is reportedly housebroken and good with kids. When it comes to manners, Roo is top-notch! He knows how to sit and is quiet when he is inside. Plus, he is up-to-date on all of his vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. Additionally, he has already been neutered and microchipped, which means he is ready to find his new home as soon as possible. If you're looking for a playful and affectionate dog who will keep you entertained and shower you with love, then Roo is the perfect fit for you! Don't wait any longer to give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves. His ID number is 644481, and he can be found in Run #848. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER - names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. Story
Cobalt is a one-year-old, 32-pound Hound/Aussie mix picked up as a stray at a local shelter. He was lucky enough to find a foster and has done well at their house. At first, he was a little shy, but her dogs quickly pulled him out of his shell. He is crate trained, housetrained, and ready for his new forever home. If you would like to foster to adopt Cobalt, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com to fill out an application. FROM THE FOSTER:  Cobalt is learning not to jump, but the off command still needs work. He walks well on the leash, and he wants to please. Cobalt responds to his name, ALWAYS! He does okay at the dog park as long as there are not too many dogs. If there are too many dogs, he does not feel comfortable and usually sticks to chewing his toys. We don't crate him, but sometimes he goes into the crate and plays by himself. He sleeps in through the night in his bed in our bedroom. He is unsure in strange situations and will hesitate and observe. Then after encouragement and repetition, he will try new things. ##1340101##

Story
We got Bruno from a Nextdoor add, three years ago. He was 10 weeks old. Within the first week he had a seizure. I gave him CBD drops for about a week. He's been fine ever since. When he was about 10 months old we figured out that he was deaf. He is very smart. He knows his sign language for sit, stay, come, and down. He knows the shake of the finger is a NO! And a thumbs up is a GOOD BOY!!! He doesn't get along with other dogs. He's totally housebroken. He will run around in circles when he has to relieve himself. He loves kids but does not tolerate babies or toddlers. All-in-all a great dog.
