THIS IS A COURTESY POST PLEASE TEXT/CALL (770) 364-8396 FOR MORE INFORMATION.  Foster notes:  Shelter has Enzo listed as a cattle dog Great Dane mix however I feel like he’s more on the red Mauro Catahoula mix. He came in with two other dogs female and a puppy that was assumed was his puppy. He’s about five years old. He is low energy medium activity. Enzo does like long walks.  He does like to play. He loves tennis balls, he likes to explore and be outdoors. He is crate trained with treats. So far he is housebroken. He loves all people. Dog friendly!      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2024, 8:13 am

Story
Todd Phox is an exceptionally smart and high-energy guy.  We believe he is a mix of a Carolina Dog and a Cattle Dog/Heeler. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 45 pounds.   Todd Phox is super athletic and loves to wrestle with other dogs - sometimes, he plays a little roughly, but he responds well to corrections. Both of his breeds are very energetic dogs, and Todd Phox is no exception. He absolutely loves his walks and walks very well on a leash. Are you a runner?  Todd will be happy to run with you.  Todd Phox is highly intelligent and enjoys training, including learning new tricks and commands.  He already knows, "sit, down, and shake" and is an extremely quick study.  He is also crate and house-trained.  Because of  Todd Phox's energy, having a fenced yard will benefit your family and Todd as it provides an outlet. But Todd Phox does know how to relax - once he is tired, he will hang out on his foster family's deck while watching over his yard or chewing on his toys, but be careful with your shoes, or he might chew those too!   Because he is part Carolina Dog, he is independent and not overly affectionate.  But when he wants to play, he pokes you with his nose to check on you or to engage you to play with him; he likes tug of war, fetch, and overall ball throwing, etc., and he loves to interact with his people. Todd Phox's best home is with a family without small children because he can be jumpy. But he would love to jump into your heart.   More pictures of Mr.Todd can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/125343018@N03/2F8D0n94DW         An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           July 17, 2024, 1:46 pm

Story
This happy go lucky fellow is Jake. His owner could no longer take care of him and his best buddies Lola and Queen. They arrived to the shelter on 7/8. Jake is 4 years old and weighs in at 55 pounds. He was an outside dog. He loves attention and knows to sit when asked. He will need a special family as he is heart worm positive. Jake is dreaming of a spa day and a soft bed to snooze in. Would you help Jake? Ask for ID# 660133 Run 18. He is current on vaccines and neutered; he will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Though Jake tested positive for heartworms, most dogs who are treated for the condition go on to live long and healthy lives. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Villa Rica, GA Meet Theo! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Theo is fearful of strangers! He is good with kids and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around cats. Theo is given trazodone when he is anxious. He herded one of the owner’s friends and snipped her calf. He also jumped on and nipped a delivery driver after the owner accidentally opened the door. The current owner is surrendering him because he is herding the other people in the home. The other people are no longer comfortable having him there. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Theo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Theo.
