Story
Meet Hillary!  Make it make sense… Hillary has been with us since the day she was born in March of LAST YEAR (2024)!! She’s an amazingly sweet and loving girl who is GREAT with all dogs! And cats too! Being smart, eager to please, and very treat motivated  means she could probably learn to do just about anything. She’s the perfect size (right around 35 lbs) - compact enough to take with you on adventures but big enough to be able to keep up with you. A DNA test on one of her littermates came back showing 51% Australian Cattle Dog and 49% American Pit Bull, so she is also sturdy and energetic - what a great combo for someone outdoorsy looking for a new Adventure Buddy! Story
Meet Hermione! Hermione is one of Mama Haddie's amazing puppies!! These puppies were born in one of our awesome foster homes so they have never known anything but love. Right from day one their foster family got right to work on socializing and exposing these babies to all kinds of scents and sounds and new friends, so they are definitely well rounded pups! Hermione just turned 1 yr old on March 16 and she is STILL waiting for her forever family to find her! She's a great size at around 30-35 lbs and she's fabulous with all dogs! This compact, energetic girl would make an absolutely amazing hiking partner or running buddy! Super friendly and eager to please, Hermione is the ultimate Adventure Buddy! Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Odie! Odie is one of many dogs we have saved from rural Upson County lately. Being a very small, rural shelter the dogs are only held for a very short stray hold before they are at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully they have a very dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to try to get the dogs to safety before their time runs out Odie is about a year and a half old and not even 35 lbs - what a great age and size! It's hard to know for sure what breed he is given that he was a stray but those tell tale spots could mean there is some heeler or maybe even bird dog in there. We prefer to think of him as 100% purebred Rescue Mutt - the best kid of dog there is! Odie is great with other dogs and has learned to really love his crate as well. He's a super social guy who was a big hit at one of our adoption events recently - stopping to greet all of the new people he came upon. This well rounded lovebug will make an amazing addition to one lucky family! Interested in adopting? Right from day one their foster family got right to work on socializing and exposing these babies to all kinds of scents and sounds and new friends, so they are definitely well rounded pups! Mama Haddie is a medium size pitbull mix, maybe around 40-45 lbs, but we are guessing that dad(s) must have been quite a bit bigger as some of the babies already hit 7 lbs at only 6 weeks old! We think it's safe to say they will grow into some very large adults! Interested in adopting?
