Story
Hello, I'm Adonis, a 1.5-year-old mixed breed with a handsome white and brown coat, weighing around 50 pounds. My journey led me here when my family, who loved me very much, could no longer keep me. But don’t worry, I’m still full of hope and joy, ready to find a new home where I can share all my love and energy. I’m known to be good with kids, and I have a playful, sweet personality that will melt your heart. I know my basic commands, and there’s nothing I love more than playing with toys—I'll keep you entertained with my silly antics! All my shots are up to date and I am neutered; I will be heartworm tested and microchipped upon adoption. I’d love nothing more than to be your loyal companion, bringing smiles and fun into your life. Come meet me at cage #48—my ID is 661147. I can’t wait to be your new best friend! Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
A FUN FRIEND FOR YOU:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 41 lbs.  Hello – I’m Rich!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am thrilled to be a part of the MM family, where I am getting lots of love and great care from the dedicated volunteers.  I recently got some great news!  I am now ready to find a family of my very own.  I look forward to that day, so come meet me soon!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did not like the male dogs, but I was good with the female dogs that I met, so if you have a female dog that won’t mind letting me be the more dominant of the two of us, then let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  It’s unanimous, the volunteers say I am ‘a great dog’ and I bet you will agree!  I’m friendly with people and love spending time with them.  I’m as happy and smart as I am handsome.  I have a curious nature, so have a good hold of my leash, as I pull to get to whatever catches my nose right now. I’m quite affectionate and let out some grunts, growls and sighs of ecstasy during that GREAT shampoo massage for my shelter bath.  / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I love my training sessions.  I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer.  A smart boy, I already know the ‘sit’, ‘down’ and ‘place’ commands.  I’m working on my leash manners too, since I am a pretty strong puller.  Check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’m well on the way to mastering my potty skills, as I've only had a couple of accidents on the shelter schedule.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule in my new home. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Spending time with people is just the best, and my favorite part of my shelter walk is perching on a stump on the property and checking out everything going on around me.  I love to check things out and explore.  Toys are fun too, and I am always up for scratches and cuddles. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a great furever home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  September 15, 2024, 8:39 am
