Story
We adopted Vee ~5 yrs ago from a rescue group,at maybe 2 yrs old.Vee is such a sweet girl. She follows you around like a shadow. She IS food aggressive! She got along great with our Great Dane before she passed. She does awesome at the vet.We board her in a private kennel and she’s fine. We also get her groomed occasionally and they always say she is the sweetest! We are having to rehome her because of moving and health reasons. My health has changed drastically since getting her to where I need assisted devices for walking. So therefore theres just no room or time for her to get the adequate exercise that her breed needs.Vee loves my 9 yr old. She’s never had any issues with her.Vee would be GREAT in a home as a single pet with plenty of room to play.Maybe with older kids that wouldn’t scare her.Or an older couple that can devote their time to her.

Story
Hi! We got this dog in January on the 7th, she was born November 19th of 2024. She just reached a year. She is partly trained, she still needs work tho. Im looking for someone who can make sure she has space to run, and get someone who wants to put in the work to take care of her. She is a very energetic dog, but she is also very loving. She is very playful but can also be calm. If possible I would also like someone where I can still see her or take care of her when ever needed. If not, totally understandable

Story
Tess is a 5 year old female Cattle dog/Shepherd mix, who weighs around 45-50 lbs and has a very outgoing personality. She's a VERY happy girl and LOVES everyone and every animal she meets. She does not know a stranger. Tess loves people, kids, cats and other dogs. She's great with dogs of all sizes and loves to play. Tess MUST have a home with a medium to large size, playful dog and a wood privacy fence, at least 6 ft tall. Shorter fences won't work for her. She's also housebroken, loves to cuddle and loves her toys too. She does not like to being the only dog, so having another dog is a must for her. With her being an active girl, the other dog in the home needs to love to play like she does. Tess is great with kids BUT because she’s so playful and a very fast girl, we don’t want to take the chance she’ll get out the front door and get away, so no kids under the age of 12/13. We need responsible, older kids who are very careful keeping the front door and fence gates closed. Tess is also spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Metro Atlanta adopters only please.October 28, 2025, 2:41 pm

Story
Bear is an 8 month old male Australian Cattle Dog mix, whose adorably expressive ears and hopeful smile are sure to win your heart! He is a shy, tender-hearted pup who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Bear was a young puppy when brought into the shelter with his siblings, so he has basically grown up without knowing the comforts of a home. Yet Bear has so many wonderful traits that will make him an amazing companion, with his lovable nature, adorable playfulness, and gentle spirit. Plus he is young and eager to learn from his human friends. Bear doesn’t ask for much, simply hoping to find a loving family to call his own … the ones who will give him the security and love to allow him to blossom into the loyal devoted companion he was born to be! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
This is Spunky, I took her in from a friend who needed to find a new home for her, her original owner could no longer care for her, I’ve had her for a few months now but she is about 2 years old now. She didn’t have any shots or papers when I took her in, not spayed. She’s had some inside training with me but is more suited to being outside. Been very happy and friendly with me and my younger dogs but not so much with my older dogs, not sure how she feels about cats. You got to meet her to know her. I only ask for $20 because of the listing fee, I have collar and leash for her and other affects if you are interested in this adorable girl.
