Story
Meet Kody, a lovable 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog who came to us as a stray on 6/29/24. Kody is a very sweet and gentle boy with high energy, so he needs a yard with a 6ft fence. He loves playing with toys and is very treat-motivated. He knows how to sit and lie down, and if you`re taking too long to throw the toy or give him a treat, he`ll jump straight up into the air in one spot! Kody walks well on a leash if you`re firm with him, and he doesn`t mind having his tail, paws, and ears touched. However, he feels uncomfortable when his mouth is handled, though he shows no aggression. Due to his mouthy puppy behavior, Kody would do best in a home without small kids, ideally with children aged 12 and up. He`s looking for a family with herding breed experience.Kody is smart, sweet, and loves meeting new people. While he can get distracted easily on walks, he`s eager to learn more with a patient and loving owner. If you have the experience and love to give, Kody could be the perfect addition to your family! He`s playful and good with other dogs, cats, and children.

Meet Taz, the adorable 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog who’s ready to steal your heart! ?? This charming pup was found wandering in St. Peters on 9/9/24.Taz is a playful spirit who absolutely adores chasing tennis balls and carrying around his favorite jolly balls. He’s a snow lover at heart, and enjoys thrilling car rides. Plus, he walks like a champ on a leash, making every outing a joy! This sweet boy loves to play with other dogs, even if they’re not as enthusiastic as he is. When Taz greets his favorite humans, he can’t help but stand on his hind legs with his front legs in the air or his cute little booty wiggling in excitement! He’s all about having fun and playing with his people, and its always fun to watch him play!As an Australian Cattle Dog, Taz would thrive in an active and loving home that can provide him with the attention and stimulation he craves. Just a heads up—because of his natural instinct to chase, he wouldn’t do well in a home with cats. Could you be the one to help Taz blossom and live his best life? ✨🐾 Hi there! I’m Tapoco, and I’m searching for my forever home! Could it be you or someone you know? 🐾✨ 🐾 A little about me: I’m a handsome 2.5-year-old cattle dog mix, just the perfect size—not too big, not too small. I had a tough start, abandoned at a rural shelter as a puppy where I spent a whole year. It left me with a little separation anxiety, but don’t worry—I’m a people-loving pup who’s great with other dogs! 🐕💙 I’ve found love and safety here at Vet Stop, but I’m ready for my next chapter—with you! I’m a mix of playful and relaxed, making me perfect for any adventure. Want to hike? I’m your guy! 🥾 Want to binge-watch your favorite series? I’ll be your cuddle buddy! 🛋️ I’m a pro on the leash, love squeaky toys, and will settle nicely in the backseat for any road trips. 🚗 🐾 What I’m looking for: I dream of a home where someone is around most of the time—maybe you work from home, are retired, or just want a loyal buddy for all your adventures. 🌟 I wouldn’t mind a fur sibling, but I’d be just as happy being your one and only. I’ve met kids on walks and love their pets, so I’d likely do great in a family with little humans! 🐾 I’ve seen a cat once—didn’t bother me one bit. 🐱 As the holidays approach, I dream of cozying up in a warm home with a loving family. Could you make my wish come true? 🎄❤️ 💌 Let’s meet! Email adopttapoco@gmail.com to schedule a time to come say hi. I’ll be waiting with wagging tail and all my love! 💜

Story
🐾🐶 Hey there! I'm Moo, and I just turned one month old! I'm told I'm a mix of Cattle Dog and Catahoula Leopard Dog, which I guess means I'm meant to be super cool and kinda spotty? 🐄✨ 👀 A little about me: 🎨 My coat is like a cow's, but don’t worry, I moo mostly in my sleep! 💕 I'm a lovebug deluxe – if snuggles were a sport, I'd be the champ! 🐈 I'm great with cats; they're like fluffy puzzles that I'm still figuring out. 🐕 Dog pals? The more, the merrier! Let's have a tail-wagging good time. 👶 Love kids too! We can be messy together; it’s more fun that way! 🚽 Potty training is a work in progress... I mean, isn't everything when you're this small? 🏡 I definitely need a yard 'cause I've got energy to burn and maybe dig a little... for science! 🧸 Toys? Yes, please! If it squeaks, it's my best friend (until I find a squeakier one). I'm looking for someone who loves cuddles as much as playtime and wouldn't mind a little "moo" now and then. Could that be you? 🐾 🔗 Wanna meet me and maybe let me chew on your shoelaces a bit? In a world of fur and joy, there's a Heeler named Brownie, oh so coy, With fur as red as autumn leaves, he's the cleverest of canine thieves. At two, he's full of boundless glee, a furry friend for you and me. Smart as a whip, this Heeler boy, his heart's a treasure, a boundless joy. Fetch and roll, and sit and stay, he'll dance and prance, bright as the day. With every bark, a tale he'll weave, of loyalty that won't deceive. He dreams of walks and treats galore, his heart, your love, forevermore. Brownie, the Heeler, red and bright, a canine star, a pure delight. Story
Are you in search of a one-of-a-kind serial kisser? Well, look no further, because I, Mandy, am the dog you've been waiting for! I come with a mix of awesomeness and a charming personality that's sure to steal your heart. I can be delightfully laid-back, enjoying those calm moments, or I can transform into a bouncing ball of joy when the mood strikes. Walks and jogs? Count me in, especially if you're by my side. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great. Think of it as a special appetizer and entree at every meal. EPI won't slow me down, and I'm ready to trade serial kisses for a loving forever home day in and day out. So, how about it? Mac is a sweet boy who knows what he wants! He does love to chase and play with animals smaller than him. Due to this we suggest that he does not go home to a family that has cats or things like chickens. Squirrels watch out! This little guy can move! Mac is a ham, you can't see it in his pictures but he LOVES attention :) He is good with other dogs and happy to be a friend or he could be an only dog and BASK in the undivided attention :) He is a lazy boy and does enjoy snoozing and spending time on the couch napping but at the same time can have his moments where he is ready to go. He is housebroken and does just fine in a crate! If he sounds like the boy for you then don't wait!
