She’s timid and shy around strangers. • She doesn’t like to be left alone for too long, but she does do well on her own. She just misses her human when you leave. •She does well in a crate at night, but she’d love to sleep with you or at least where she can see you. •She gets along well with other dogs but needs patience and slow introduction. She does not do well around children, so a no child household required. Social settings are also a no-go. •Does well with potty training but needs to be taken out often and reminded how good of a girl she is. Treats are a plus. • The absolute best companion and extremely loyal to her person. • Bonus if you love extra kisses. She is very affectionate to her person. Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again!
