Story
Sugar smiles the widest when she's on a car ride with her favorite volunteer buddy, John. While their destination is the park--a place she loves--it's really about the journey for her: watching the world from the passenger seat next to someone she loves. In a foster home, she enjoyed daily runs with her foster dad, and would get into the shower to rinse off when her feet were dirty Sugar was housetrained in the home and when left uncrated, she didn't get into anything. Her former foster mom described this beauty as the ultimate "people pleaser." Sugar bonds deeply with her people and will do best in a home where there's low activity and one or two adults. She has had some dog friends in the past, but given her stress in the shelter, she is currently being marketed as needing to be the only dog in the home. 7 y/o, ~65 pounds W A I T I N G

Story
For the first time since he's been in our care, Yeti has had a chance to decompress in a foster home, and we're learning a lot about him! Doug, Yeti's foster dad, describes him as "intelligent, curious, and loyal," and noted that he's eager to please and loves attention. In the home, Yeti has been house- and crate-trained. Something we already knew about Yeti that Doug has confirmed is that he's a smart dog who loves to learn and who needs a job. His ideal home looks like one or two adults who are active and enjoy hiking/running/walking and who have a strong throwing arm since Yeti's all time favorite activity is fetching balls. Doug imagines that Yeti could even be taught how to run alongside a bike! When Yeti is having downtime, he's quite cuddly, Doug said, and will lean all of his weight up against him. He said that Yeti becomes so relaxed, it's almost like he does a trust fall as he settles in for snuggles. At the end of his update, Doug said about Yeti: "He's just now learning what it means to be part of a family in a home and when he fully figures it out (and grows out of the puppy stage a bit), his family won't be able to imagine a life without him!" Yeti is ready for that next person to help him continue to learn what living with a family means. He will do best as the only pet in the home and with someone who is willing to work on his training.

Sadie can hear everything with those ears! She hears when you're at the fridge opening some cheese, when you're putting your socks on (that's right, socks!) and getting ready for a walk, and she can even hear you scrolling on your phone right now, falling in love with her! This gorgeous girlie also checks a lot of boxes of what people want in a doggo: --kid friendly --dog friendly --housetrained --crate trained --well behaved and attentive

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We have had Buster for close to 2 years. He is a sweet boy and a good dog. He loves people, cuddling & being pet. We have 2 kids, ages 2 and 1 & he has been good with them, though will sometimes growl if they try to touch his feet. We also have two other dogs.. he likes to play with them but will occasionally gets territorial when there’s food around. He would probably be best as the only dog.

Story
Ryder is an energetic, curious, brave, and enthusiastic 2 year old! He love the outdoors, he has done lots of hiking, bike rides and has even climbed a 14er with us! He needs lots of room to run around and play! With people he trust he is VERY affectionate and loves attention. However with some new people he is not always very trusting and can be very shy. Feel free to ask me any questions or to schedule a meet and greet! He does great with other dogs!
