Miranda came to CARE due to being found as a stray. We can't believe that someone isn't looking for this multicolored beauty! Miranda is sweet and very calm. She loves to give kisses and loves to be petted. She is an excellent leash walker and she keeps her kennel clean, so we think she is housetrained. She good with other dogs, but her feeling about cats it is unknown. Looking for a chill type dog, ask for Miranda!

Courtesy Post (Woody is not currently with PawSafe, email for owner's contact info). Located in Brookfield, CT. Woody is an energetic and lovable seven year old dog. He is a 57lb Australian Cattle/Shepherd/Collie mix. He loves exploring outside, hiking, and walking, but also laying on the couch watching TV. He enjoys being in the room with his family members. We are looking for a new home for him as we have a toddler, and Woody needs the peace of a home without children. Woody would be better with older kids, and smaller dogs, or no other pets. Woody will let you know if someone is passing by/entering the house, or an Amazon driver is pulling in. Woody is completely house trained, and knows commands such as sit, lay down, paw, and off. He can also catch snow balls and loves playing in the snow! He can be left alone at home for someone who works outside the home with a good walk before and after work, but of course the more activity, the better. Woody loves being walked, but is best walked on streets with sidewalks, or in nature. Roads without sidewalks and proximity to cars can make him want to lunge and jump out at cars. Thunderstorms and fireworks cause him stress, and he usually will want to hide in a safe place in the home, or be by your side. We are hoping to find the perfect home for him to live the rest of his adult life, enjoying a family who can snuggle him and keep him active. Amber is a small girl with the heart of a lion. She loves to play, play, play. She gets along great with dogs and cats. When she's tired herself out, she loves to curl up in her person's lap. She's a little shy at first, but is a lovebug once she trusts you. Amber is crate trained and working on leash skills. More than anything, she would love a home with a yard to run around in.
