This pup was born 8-2-21 to a heeler mom. The dad was a smaller type terrier dog. This pup is extra sweet and social. This pup is great with people, other dogs and cats. We have started potty training and crate training. This pup is current on vaccines,deworming, preventives and microchipped. This pup will receive a physical and health certificate issued by our vet. This 2-3 year old boy is 40 pounds and a very loyal companion once you earn his trust.  Smart dogs don’t give their hearts to just anyone.  They want an owner to be smarter and as focused in life as they are.  Blue Merlin loves to have you get that leash out and go on adventurous walks He is housebroken, fine in the house uncrated for the day and he loves running around the fenced yard and playing with other dogs and having the time of his life.  He was part of an Amish breeder colony a few months ago and they decided he was not to be a stud anymore and gave him up to a woman who is a traveling nurse who didn't have a consistent home life for him.  has been around cats and wants them to play and if they don't ....he will bark at them for sport but NEVER hurts one. There are just some dogs that make you catch your breath when you look into their eyes and see their message to the world pleading for love and help.  This boy named Smurf does just that when you meet him.   This little guy is part Heeler and some sort of Terrier and is actually only 23 pounds and 9 months of age.  He will most probably be a 28 pound boy when he reaches maturity .  We found him at a very high kill shelter where his owner dropped him off saying they just didn’t have time for him with their busy schedule.  We can only imagine that as a puppy he was as stunning as he is now but small and fun for the moment.  As the moments went by and the reality of raising a puppy into a full grown, fulltime commitment became clear, this boy soon became a burden and no longer wanted.  Smurf is as sweet as he is good looking .  He can be a couch potato or he can be your running buddy on a nice day.  He is wonderful with people and other dogs too!   We are cat testing him soon and will let you know if you need that requirement.   Smurf just needs someone to show him all the good manner rules and things that will make him a really good boy.  A lot of good energy to get out daily with running and playing would be required for him and dog buddies to hang with would be fun too.  He will promise you love, loyalty, snuggles, happy face smiles, and eyes that will look into your soul.  This boy is a sweet dog and oh so handsome with his rich mahogany coloring and sprinkled freckles on his beautiful white chest.  He is a precious dog that needs to be molded and guided.  The return will be immeasurable joy and love for a lifetime.  If you are interested in this small boy please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 29, 2023, 1:20 pm

Our pretty red freckled girl is called Phoebe and she is a mixture of so many confident and strong breeds, starting with Cattle Dog and then mixed with charm.  She came from KY and was found as a stray.  She begged our rescuer to take her from the shelter and she has been charming everyone she meets while being taught house manners and family requirements of living with young children, other dogs and even a cat.  Phoebe is 4 months old and weighs 28 pounds and expected to reach around 50 pounds as an adult.  Her foster mom says she plays well with the other dogs and has not bothered the cats.  She is mostly curious about them.  She is a super sweet pup and she just adores the 3 year old twin girls that visit their grandmother fostering Phoebe.  She joins in the noise and the play with the human girls and just thinks she is one of them!  She LOVES attention and is learning that she has to share her foster mom.  Pheobe thrives best with structure/routine so she knows what is expected of her.  She is an active girl and would be a great running/jogging/walking/hiking buddy.  She is built to be athletic and sturdy for most all the adventures that you want her to share with you.  She has done well with house breaking and she is a good listener and learner.  This girl needs a dog adopter who can guide her every day and keep her on track with the boundaries and expectations that will make her an exceptional dog to raise.  If you are interested in this beauty, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 29, 2023, 1:20 pm
