Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Koda (aka Dot) Nicknames - Koda Nick or Koda Bear Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler/Chow Chow Sex/Age/Weight: Female/3 years old/55 lbs. Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention, dewormed, flea/tick/parasite-free, and microchipped House/Crate Trained: Yes/Yes. Koda loves her crate! When it comes to nap time or settling in for the evening Koda goes right in for a snooze. Dogs/Cats/Children: Yes/No/Yes. Koda does very well with medium to large sized dogs and has two furry siblings she loves to wrestle with. She is not comfortable with smaller dogs and cats so it is best that she be the one and only or have a medium to large size dog to hang out with. She loves children of all ages especially when she can cuddle up with them and get belly rubs. Training: Koda is working on her commands and manners. She knows sit, down, and paw, and walks great on a leash. She will need someone to continue to train her so she can be the best girl for you! Working on: Koda is quite the snuggle bunny and sometimes thinks she is a lap dog. She is learning that you can cuddle with your humans without sitting on their lap. She can be vocal about things she wants - dinner, attention, etc., She is an American Idol in the making and is in the process of learning to sing silently and will need someone to continue teaching her it is okay to sing to yourself. Koda has trust issues when it comes to dinner time and prefers to enjoy her meal in her crate. Her foster family is slowly introducing her to others at meal time. Things I like: People! She loves to be around her humans. Snuggling up with them is one of her favorite pastimes. When she is not cuddling up, you will find her playing and running around in the backyard with her siblings or having fun time in the water. Things I don’t like: Being alone or ignored for long periods of time. Koda would love someone who works from home or who is only gone from home for short periods of time. As much as she loves playing in the water, bath time is not her favorite. She doesn’t understand it helps keep her beautiful coat from shedding so much. She will need a daily brushing to help with her shedding as well. Ideal home: Koda would do best where she can get lots of exercise, play time, and attention. A family who has time to be committed to her would be best, preferably with a backyard where she she could hang out with a furry sibling (medium to large sized dogs only). Story
Meet Mark, a stunning three-year-old, 55 lb. cattle dog/husky mix with a gorgeous speckled coat and big pointy ears. He was found with another dog living outside a complex in the extreme Texas heat over the summer. He’s currently in foster down south awaiting an adopter or foster so he can travel up north to find his furever family! As most cattle dogs are, Mark is a loyal and energetic dog that is always up for an adventure or game of fetch. He walks well on his leash and rides great in the car so he'll go wherever you go. Mark currently lives in foster with other dogs and would be best suited for pups of his size. He is not a fan of cats. While he likes other dogs, he'd also be ok as your one and only so he gets all the love and attention. Mark will blossom with an adopter who will guide him and stick to a routine. He's both house and crate trained and very smart. A home with a fenced yard is an absolute must for this active guy! He'll make a wonderful addition to any family! His adoption fee is $400 and Mark is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. If you are interested in this handsome boy, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Mojo was found as a stray and we made every effort to find his owners but to no avail. He is an Aussie mix and of course with the breed comes high activity. I will say that he loves his down time though! He is NOT an apartment dog. He needs a good sized fenced yard. He is not great in a crowd of dogs but will do well with a sister or brother to play with. He hasn't been tested with cats so we don't know about that. The vet believes his age to be about 6 years. He's neutered, vaccinated, crate trained and heart worm negative. He is more than ready for his forever home! ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!

Story
This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!. She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!
