🚨 Boone has been abandoned, and he is currently living in a pen outside! He desperately needs to find a loving forever home where he can live out his golden years! Note that this dog is not being fostered by our organization, and we’re just posting him as a courtesy. A family member has been temporarily housing him outside, but obviously it’s too cold outside. He is accustomed to being an indoor dog, and due to age/health, the relative cannot care for the dog long-term. Boone is located in the Zanesville area. He is a male blue tick heeler mix. He is described as a very friendly and affectionate dog. Meet Malbec! He's a handsome male puppy from the Wine Litter, born on 11/9/25 and ready to find his forever home! His mom is a heeler and his dad's breed is unknown. Malbec has a thick, fluffy coat and a gorgeous auburn sheen that really catches the light. Unlike some of his siblings, Malbec does not have wrinkles, giving him a soft, teddy bear look.  Malbec has higher energy and loves to play, explore, and stay busy. He's always up for a game of tug of war or an adventure. Malbec would probably make a great hiking partner. This boy likes to have fun! Once Malbec has had his fun, he'll be ready to settle and relax, making him a good balance of active and then chill. We expect Malbec to be large sized. Check out those wrinkles! Syrah is playful, but above all she is soooo sweet! She loves being with her people and will happily curl up in your lap or next to you. With Syrah you can expect a lot of tail wagging, kisses and affectionate moments. She is a little love bug. Syrah does have some energy, but she's generally on the calmer side of the litter.  We expect Syrah to be medium large in size. He has the most adorable wrinkles and a very expressive face. We suspect this cutie has some shar pei mixed in alongside his heeler (mom's breed) roots. Cabernet has a nice middle of the road enery level. He is playful and curious, but also likes to snuggle and soak up the world around him. When it's time to rest, Cabernet is known to snooze so hard that it's impossible to miss his snore, which only adds to his charm. We expect Cabernet to grow into a large dog.
