Story
We really outdid ourselves with originality in naming Cattle Dog, or “Cattle D” for not much shorter. Cattle Dog has all the energy and big personality you would expect from a Cattle Dog—he will patrol your yard to protect it from both squirrels and ghosts, but when not under attack from these nefarious villains, he loves to play with his friends and loves giving kisses and hugs and getting attention from his people. He’s a fantastic dog and just the best boy. A physically fenced yard is required. Cattle Dog is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. Story
DobbieMaleAge: 2.5 YearsWeight: 55 lbsBreed: Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd MixRequirements: Herding or Working Breed Experience Hi, I’m Dobbie! I am an energetic, cuddly & curious boy, who gets along great with other dogs. I am still learning what a cat is and that they usually don’t want to play with me, but my foster family thinks long term I’ll be a great cat sibling! I am quite excitable so would do best in a home without young kids. I am house & crate trained. I love learning new things and have mastered all the basics like walking on a leash, basic commands (sit, stay, down, come, wait, okay, no) and can even “place. I would love an adopter who can continue learning and growing with me and challenging me to be my best self. Being a young Cattle Dog mix, I will require an active adopter who is experienced with herding or working breeds and will ensure I am getting the mental stimulation & physical exercise I need but also knows when I need some chill time to continue being a happy boy. I would love a fenced in back yard for games of fetch and to chase squirrels, although this is not required.I am a bit unsure of new situations and places which means I will require a patient adopter who is willing to work on socializing me long term. In my free time I love to PLAY, be outdoors, cuddle, and be as close to my humans and fur siblings as physically possible. I also REALLY love to give kisses.  I can’t wait to have an adopter all my own who will provide me all the love and the active lifestyle I deserve! If you are interested in meeting Dobbie, apply to adopt at: www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 10 years old or older. ##1385204##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Sweet Luna came to our rescue with puppies. She was an incredible momma. All of her pups have since been adopted but she is still patiently waiting on someone to call her their girl. She loves walks and just discovered how much she loves the sand volleyball court! This sweet girl came to DASH fearful and shy with little confidence. She has made great strides in the DASH Prison Training Program. Her handler says " Luna is better than a good pet, she's a good friend and a great roommate". When you wake up, she's looking at you like "What are we going to do today?", but she is not afraid to be alone either. She will do best with a person who responds in a calm, relaxed approach. She is highly intelligent, affectionate and loyal and attaches quickly to one person. She loves everyone though. She's a great dog who just needs a chance with a family that has time for her. She will need time to decompress, with love and patience to show her she is safe and part of the family. Luna is not cat-friendly but is sociable with other dogs, just not puppies. She has not been "kid tested" so proper meet & greets are always in order. We are excited and anticipate Luna finding her perfect home. Rescue Luna and she'll rescue you. Story
Whiskey is the most social puppy you could ever meet. He loves playing with the other dogs in the home and always wants to be a part of the action. He is definitely vocal when he wants attention that is not being given to him. Whiskey loves to be held and being loved on. He would do great in a home with other pets or kids. He is working on potty training and seems to be picking up on it. Hes not too interested in the cats in the home at the moment. He sleeps well in his crate as long as he has a comfy bed in there. You can apply to meet him at ricopetrecovery.org. Adoption fee is $350 and includes first 2 set of vaccines neuter and microchip. Owner will cover 3rd and 4th set of vaccines.

He is a very handsome guy that will be the first to find a friend to sit with on the couch. You can apply to meet her at ricopetrecovery.org. Adoption fee is $350 and includes first two set of vaccines spay and microchip. Owner will cover 3rd and 4th set of vaccines.
