Story
Looking for a ride along friend, snuggle bug, adventure pal, confidante and best friend? Maybelline might just be your girl! With a heart of gold, an eagerness to please, a smile so beautiful it’ll light up a room–Maybelline has been searching for the perfect home who appreciates what she’s got to offer! Maybelline is a 4 year old Australian shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix with a walk like a Corgi. She is 40lbs which we think is the perfect medium sized pup! Maybelline has lived outside her whole life, so she’s looking for a home that’ll be patient with her while she learns the ropes of indoor living. Right now, her foster mom says she’s acclimating so fast! Maybelline is a very happy go lucky girl. She loves to snuggle up on the couch and hold you hostage. She likes to eat ALL the food you have to offer her–even if it’s a bite of your burger, she doesn’t mind. She will hog the bed, act as a heating pad on the couch, follow you like a shadow, accompany you on any adventure that awaits and will do so without complaints. Maybelline is the picture of a loyal companion. She’s quirky, but who doesn’t love a quirky girl? Her smile comes off as more of a smirk and we giggle every time it comes out. Her eyes are SO expressive. Her whole body will wiggle with joy the second she sees you or hears your voice. She’s such a happy dog. Her nub tail goes a million miles a minute the higher your voice goes. Maybelline enjoys treats, especially if it’s lunch meat. Specifically, turkey. She’s a little on the picky side with dog food, but she’s just watching her figure! Because she’s snack motivated, training with her will be extra fun! She is great on leash and enjoys nature walks. She’s not a fast-paced girl but hikes could also be her thing! A trip down to the lake could also prove to be a blast! Maybelline is great in the kennel for just learning what one is. She’s a patient girl who waits her turn to come out. She’s also potty trained to perfection! If Maybelline seems like the beauty queen you’re searching for, apply now before she gets adopted! She has been spayed, microchipped by rescue and treated for heartworms - on prevention and up to date on vaccines. She has no special needs or medical needs. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. **Local Adoption to the Houston area is $300.00 *Adoption Fee ($550.00) includes transport options to PNW (WA, UT, ID), Midwest (MN, WI, MI, OH, IL, IN) or select New England States (NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT) by pet transport partners. She was heartworm positive, so it was necessary to bring her to Houston for a rescue to treat her and work on an adoption plan for her. She has cattle dog blood so herding and chasing chickens is possible, since arriving in the suburbs, she's only shown an interest in being a couch Queen. Foster Notes: Maybelline is a super friendly girl but would do best in a home that has only male dogs or where she will be the only dog! She doesn’t pair well with female dogs per rumors - she has been good with younger female dogs and easy-going females. Even though she sometimes doesn’t mix well with other mature dogs - this girl is still super deserving of the perfect home! Video: https://youtu.be/WFcJQHVijpo?si=Eggx0TomiljQqI8C

Story
We really outdid ourselves with originality in naming Cattle Dog, or “Cattle D” for not much shorter. Cattle Dog has all the energy and big personality you would expect from a Cattle Dog—he will patrol your yard to protect it from both squirrels and ghosts, but when not under attack from these nefarious villains, he loves to play with his friends and loves giving kisses and hugs and getting attention from his people. He’s a fantastic dog and just the best boy. A physically fenced yard is required. Cattle Dog is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. Cat Friendly Yes Kids Yes, any age Apartment Friendly Yes Fence Requirements Physical fence required, any height Crate Trained She will go in the crate with high maintenance treats and some coaxing, but she hates it. Potty Trained Yes Ideal Home / Adopter Jersey is still learning to be a dog. She would love to have another dog that would help her out. She is very sweet, but timid. She is still afraid of the leash, she is working on it, but would need a house with a fenced in yard. She is very curious about cats, loves to smell them, but does not chase them. She takes time to warm up to people, but she does not jump on them. Likes She loves chicken, following around the other dog(s) in the house, sticking her face in the snow and running around in the snow. She also loves shoes..... Dislikes the CRATE! She eventually calms down, but does better being confined to a room (without shoes, unless you are okay with losing those shoes). She is still learning leash skills and building confidence, and takes about a day to warm up in new situations. Jersey is a sweet sweet dog. She takes about a day to warm up and then when she does she steals your heart. Jersey will be your best friend. She is still learning to trust, but once she does she just wants to be near you and her doggie friends. She is learning to play fetch and chase the other dogs. She loves the snow, but loves to crash on the couch just as much. She really wants to make her people happy. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##2657164##

Story
Meet Crystal, a beautiful 1½-year-old white cattle dog mix who’s ready to trade in her mom duties for a little “me time!” After raising a litter of adorable pups, Crystal is eager to be the star of the show and find a home where she can shine. True to her breed, Crystal is happiest when she’s outside with room to run and explore. She loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine friends and plenty of space to stretch her legs. After a good play session, this energetic girl is all about the snuggles — her affectionate side is just as strong as her adventurous one. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s full of life and love, Snuggly Crystal might just be your perfect match!
