Story
We really outdid ourselves with originality in naming Cattle Dog, or “Cattle D” for not much shorter. Cattle Dog has all the energy and big personality you would expect from a Cattle Dog—he will patrol your yard to protect it from both squirrels and ghosts, but when not under attack from these nefarious villains, he loves to play with his friends and loves giving kisses and hugs and getting attention from his people. He’s a fantastic dog and just the best boy. A physically fenced yard is required. Cattle Dog is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. A year ago I was found in a box with no mom in sight and sent to a Texas shelter. Speak for the Unspoken broke me out of doggy jail and brought me to Ohio. My short young life had been extremely hard so when I arrived at my foster home I was terrified of everything and almost completely shut down. Over time and with lots of patience my foster family gained my trust and showed me that life isn’t so scary. My furry foster siblings also gave me confidence to be brave and explore. My foster Mom is extremely proud of all the progress I’ve made over the last year. She says I’m ready to find my forever family to keep building the confidence and trust I need to fulfill my full potential. So let me tell you all about me! Today I am a happy bouncy dog that LOVES to play. Toys are the best. I enjoy tugging on a rope, chasing balls, destroying any stuffy in site, oh…..and my new favorite trying to catch a frisbee. Being chased by my foster siblings with a toy in my mouth is always a bonus. Playing “keep away” is fun. After playing I enjoy curling up on a soft pillow or couch to rest. I also love sleeping next to someone in bed at night. That way I know I’m not alone. If you need an assistant in the kitchen I’m here to help. Picking up dropped food is my specialty . I especially like carrots and cheese. It’s a good way to build my trust. My forever family will need to have patience and an understanding that it will take time for me to trust. Another dog with my energy level in the home is best to help me navigate my new situation. Plus, I really don’t care for cats and am very focused on catching small animals. So a dog only home is required. New situations are still scary for me. So a fence is a must, to keep me safe.I promise if you have the time and patience I will show you the bouncy, happy, silly and loyal boy that I truly am. I am neutered and up to date on all my vaccinations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Sweet Luna came to our rescue with puppies. She was an incredible momma. All of her pups have since been adopted but she is still patiently waiting on someone to call her their girl. She loves walks and just discovered how much she loves the sand volleyball court! This sweet girl came to DASH fearful and shy with little confidence. She has made great strides in the DASH Prison Training Program. Her handler says " Luna is better than a good pet, she's a good friend and a great roommate". When you wake up, she's looking at you like "What are we going to do today?", but she is not afraid to be alone either. She will do best with a person who responds in a calm, relaxed approach. She is highly intelligent, affectionate and loyal and attaches quickly to one person. She loves everyone though. She's a great dog who just needs a chance with a family that has time for her. She will need time to decompress, with love and patience to show her she is safe and part of the family. Luna is not cat-friendly but is sociable with other dogs, just not puppies. She has not been "kid tested" so proper meet & greets are always in order. We are excited and anticipate Luna finding her perfect home. Rescue Luna and she'll rescue you. Apply today!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 12, 2026, 12:31 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Pancake.  She is a young girl who is very smart and is very eager to learn.  Pancake is a Heeler mix who is a big love bug.  She is currently in the DASH Prison program where she is learning basic commands and perfecting her manners to be the best pup for her future family.  Pancake is house trained, does well in a crate, loves everyone, gets along well with other dogs, and walks great on a leash.  She is currently working on being comfortable on crowds of people so her future adopter will need to continue making her feel comfortable.  Due to Pancake’s current foster placement she has not been introduced to cats or children of any age so both would need proper introductions.  Please apply today to give Pancake her a fur-ever home!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 23, 2026, 2:21 pm
